CAT Cable USB for FT 857D

 

Hi friends, I have a question. Has anyone here connected a Yaesu FT 857D to a PC to use CAT, but not with the CT-62 (RS 232C) cable, but rather using a USB cable? How does it work?

Hi, I’ve used CT 62 with an RS 232 to USB adapter.

I purchased three of these



about 18 months ago and all three work flawlessly on Windows 10.? No driver to install, no setup.? Just plug it in and it works.

I use the DigiRig FT857 kit. Works great for all FSK modes.
