I know these are available online. I found a fellow who has a lot of them and they're not very?expensive. I don't have the URL but you should be able to find them with a search engine. Is the shaft coming out with the knob or the knob coming off that shaft? If the knob is coming off the shaft there is a set screw under the rubber cover that does come loose. If the shaft is coming out with the knob, call Yaesu Parts. They will have the correct part and it usually isn't anymore than you would pay from a third party place.

I just ordered a RF board for my VX7. Couple a couple calls to finally get someone on the phone. Not like pre COVID days when there was always an answer.
