Yes. That is correct. You then need to create saved memory locations with the 5Mhz channels. Not a big deal, but you lose a few of your limited 200 memory slots :-)

Yaesu makes a USB interface called the SCU-17. You have to make sure you have the both the data and cat cables for it to work. It will work with digital mode apps on your computer. 73, John-W5FLY
