It's finally done 2
My pictures seem to be coming out huge. I hope they show up a reasonable size for viewing. The stitching flaws don't need to be magnified. But I'm so glad Faith didn't shut this down before I was able to get it done. This feels like a proper close-out of the class.

Is Daydreams still active? 7
I can't seem to find my information on how long Daydreams was going to stay active after the last lesson was released June 1. Was it finished after July or still open through August? And what happens when it's done? Does the group remain viewable or disappear? Is anyone besides me still working on it? Anyone planning to post final pictures as a wrap up? Peggy

Needlelace Circle
Barbara, are you still answering questions on Daydreams? I'm just getting to the buttonhole triangles in the Needlelace Circles and my first three attempts haven't worked. Adding stitches and working looser have helped a bit, but mine still seem to narrow so quickly. How many base stitches should we be using? And is there a trick to getting them to narrow more gradually like the ones in your sample and other completed projects?

Evaluation/critique 3
Good evening Barbara My question is on how you will be critiquing our embroidery. Do we complete Daydreams by making it into the pillow before? Will we be sending in the final piece to you or will the critique be done by sending you pictures of the front and back before finishing it? Hope your husband is doing better Patti G

Lesson 6 is here now 2
I'm sorry, so so sorry. I got Barb to send me the lesson in enough time so that I could post it on May 31 because I was going to be in the woods on a Wilderness and Remote First Aid that started on Friday. Then in the rush to get away I obviously forgot all about posting it. So instead of a weekend to stitch you had a weekend to wonder where the heck I was. If it's any consolation, I now know why the blackflies were so bad. They were obviously my punishment for neglecting my duties. Enjoy Lesson Six. -- Faith Cormier Online Assistant

Critique/evaluation questions
Good morning. This is my first cyber course and I have enjoyed working on it. Will there be a critique on my embroidery and if so how will happen? Will be done with pictures of front and back to the counsellor or will there be an option to send it to her if I cover the postage both ways? Is it before I make it into a pillow or after? Pat G

My “Day dreams” are all done! 3
I can’t wait to have the last lesson so I can turn it into a prettiest cushion ever! I fell in love with this design first time I saw it as a class offered at EAC Seminar. Dear Barbara thank you very much for the opportunity to stitch your beautiful design! I love it and enjoyed every stitch on it. Wishing well to both your husband and yourself! I’ll add some pictures to photo album

Daydreams photos
Voila! Thanks, Barbara for the design. Your instructions were so awesome that help was not needed other than the first month when printing out the correct size of the design to transfer. Of course, you are not looking closely at my stitches to offer constructive criticism, and I know there are a couple of areas I could improve. However, on the whole I am very pleased with the stitching outcome. Now to finish it into a pillow case. Many thanks, Mary

Needlelace Circle 2
First needlelace circle is completed. It was a challenge. The eight sections were not equal in size, so that is the goal on the second circle. Mary

Leaf Cluster 2
Hi Barbara, I am working my way through the fishbone leaves and there seems to be a discrepancy between the pattern drawing and the completed project/instructions. The pattern shows 5 leaves in the cluster, but the finished model and the photo in the instructions show 7 leaves. The number of leaves isn't really a problem, but in the drawing it shows little stems (one in one cluster, two in the other) that attach the leaf to the main stem. Should those little stems attaching to the main stem be done in coral stitches like the main stem? Thanks, Heather B

Left-handed Instructions 6
Hello Ladies, There has been some confusion as to the instructions downloaded. The right handed instructions have a RH in the file title. The lefthanded have a LH in the file title. At the top of page 1 of the LH version it says "Left-handed Instruction for" - Also in the footer it says LH - DayDreams. At the top of page 1 of the RH version it says "Right-handed Instruction for" - Also in the footer it says RH - DayDreams. I hope this clears up any confusion Regards, Barbara

Confirmation 3
Hi. Wow! That's a lot of coral knots. :-\ I just want to make sure I have read the pattern correctly before February's instructions come. On the attachment, the green highlighted part is done in coral knots and the pink highlighted part is done in coral knots and then chain stitch? Thanks in advance. Kathy Taylor

Fabric
hello Ladies, I have had a question about the Strathaven linen so although I have replied to Marina I thought I would also let everyone else know. I think the linen is only called Strathaven linen in the US/Canada. Although it is the same linen I get mine from Germany and it is Weddigen Linen Article 924. It is the linen that was traditionally used for Schwalm and does come in a finer 40ct. I prefer it because it is a dense weave and holds the coral knots on top of the linen beautifully. With some of the other more open weaves the knots tend to fall on the holes and disappear making it a lot harder and more frustrating to work with. You could use the Italian Graziano linen but because it is a finer 40 count you will need to substitute the threads for finer thread. So when using a 40ct linen or finer you would use the #20 instead of the #16, #25 instead of the #20 and #30 instead of the #25. Zweigart (and definitely witchlet) tends to be a more open weave although the finer 40 (Newcastle) and 50 count would work with the finer threads. Hope this helps Barbara
