Fw: The Amazing Race Season 37 Episode 10 Recap: MAY 7
From: Sharon Pohlman The Amazing Race Season 37 Episode 10 Recap: Remaining teams arrive in Europe, where they face water jousting followed by an elimination Story by Gira Rathod The Amazing Race Season 37 Episode 10 aired on May 7, 2025. The latest episode, titled, Up the River Without a Joust featured various tasks including a water joust, cheese identification, traditional laundry, building a nest, and more. While a few teams struggled with navigation, for some of them, doing laundry the traditional way turned out to be a difficult task. During one of the challenges, Alyssa and Josiah used their express pass, which they had obtained from the previous episode. The tenth episode of The Amazing Race Season 37 ended with Brett and Mark's elimination. It happened after they had navigation issues and were the last to arrive at the destination. The Amazing Race Season 37 Episode 10 Recap: Teams arrive in France, where they go through a series of challenges, which ended with one team going home The tenth episode of The Amazing Race Season 37 started with the remaining teams heading to the next stop, Frankfurt, Germany. For that, they took a flight, followed by a train to Strasbourg, France. The last episode featured Ana and Jonathan finishing first, hence they were the first ones, followed by Brett and Mark. Soon, Alyssa and Josiah also got there. Carson and Jack were in fourth place while Han and Holden were last. Even though everyone started at different times, they were all on the same flight. Alyssa and Josiah still had an express pass from the ninth episode. Up next on The Amazing Race, participants were supposed to get in their designated cars and drive to the Council of Europe for the next clue. While Brett and Mark couldn't figure out the correct path, Han and Holden were the first team to arrive. Soon, the rest of the teams also arrived, but Brett and Mark were still lost en route. After answering the question correctly, the teams would get their next clue. For that, the question was to list countries they have visited that are part of the Council of Europe. The correct answer was Italy, France, Germany, and Bulgaria. Carson-Jack, Han-Holded, and Ana-Jonathan answered it correctly, while Alyssa-Josiah, after two incorrect answers, got it.The teams' next destination on The Amazing Race Season 37 was Pont Couverts, while Brett and Mark were still lost. Han and Holden were the first team to arrive at Pont Couverts, where teams were supposed to participate in a water jousting. In the order of arrival, one member of each team will face the other team member in the river during the water jousting. For that, The Amazing Race participants had to knock down their opponent in the river. While the winning team advances in the competition, the losing team participates again with the next arriving team. Those who do not win any round would face a ten-minute penalty. The first round was between Han and Carson, which the latter lost. On the other hand, Mark and Brett were still on their way. The next match was between Carson and Jonathan, where nobody was knocked down, but Jonathan lost his balance and fell into the river. It resulted in Carson's win. The next head-to-head was between Josiah and Jonathan, which the latter won. It resulted in the final match between Josiah and Mark, which Josiah won. After Han and Holden won, they received the next clue: to go to La Cloche a Fromage. The rest of the teams also joined them later on. They had to reach a cheese shop and learn the names of 9 types of cheese, and identify them. Although Brett and Mark were the last team to arrive at the cheese shop with their 10-minute penalty, the rest of the teams were still there. Han and Holden were the first team to name all 9 types of cheese, followed by Carson and Jack. The next team to succeed was Ana and Jonathan, followed by others. The next Detour was Strasbourg Cathedral, where Alyssa and Josiah used their express pass. For that, teams had two options: Out to Dry and For the Birds. The first one was a bucket full of laundry, which needed to b

Fw: Survivor 48¡¯ recap: May 7
From: Sharon Pohlman Survivor 48¡¯ recap: Jeff incorrectly calls the immunity challenge, while one juror takes a stand (literally) John Benutty Reality TV May 7, 2025 Previously on Survivor 48, Kamilla Karthigesu was ready to make her move against the "core four" in a play to get Joe Hunter out, and her closest ally Kyle Fraser was willing to let her do it ¡ª even though he's also closely aligned with Joe. When Joe won immunity the plan was off and Star Toomey became the universal target, keeping the "core four" intact and leaving only three on the outside looking in. This week, a plan is once again hatched to target the players controlling the game, but immunity, advantages and a general reluctance to betray friendships may still stand in the way of bringing it to fruition. Read on for our recap of Survivor Season 48, Episode 11, titled "Coconut Etiquette," which aired Wednesday, May 7 on CBS The players still competing to become "sole Survivor" at the start of the episode were: Eva Erickson, Joe Hunter, Kamilla Karthigesu, Kyle Fraser, Mary Zheng, Mitch Guerra, and Shauhin Davari. The members of the jury that will decide the winner are: Cedrek McFadden, Chrissy Sarnowsky, David Kinne, and Star Toomey. "No one's gonna wanna keep around the person who doesn't know proper coconut etiquette!" ¡ª Kamilla Karthigesu Though she was spared through another vote, Mary returned to camp after Tribal Council with the realization that she'd once again have to "crawl out from this pit all over again" to find new footing in the game. Her plan this time was a pitch to Kamilla and Mitch that if they want to break up the Joe and Eva pair (which they say they do) then they should do it next while she's still in the game to do it with them so that they have a better shot of doing it without their own games on the line. Kamilla was particularly interested in the pitch, but knew that she'd have to convince Kyle and Shauhin to be on board with it, too. When Mary approached Kyle with the same pitch, he was all ears because it was something he was already wrestling with in his own mind. While he's been telling Joe that the four is who he wants to go to the end with and he trusts them, he's also aware that Joe is seen as being in control of the game and it would not be a winning situation to sit next to Joe at the end. His personal issue was coming down to the "strong emotional connection" made with Joe and Eva that he told Mary makes it "very difficult to even consider making a move right now." But the truth is that he wasn't being honest with Mary about wanting to make the same move because he wasn't sure if he could "trust her entirely." While Mary did have some ears in the tribe perked up to her plan, she damaged her reputation by not following "proper coconut etiquette" during the day by chopping them all up to eat instead of saving some ripe ones to be eaten later in the game. She told Eva that no one is going to take her on a reward so she might as well eat as many coconuts as she can because it's the only food she's going to get. "They have no reason to doubt me, I've always told the truth" ¡ª Eva Erickson Before the final seven could test their skills (and luck) at another immunity or reward challenge, a boat unexpectedly arrived at camp asking for one among them to leave and go on a journey. Because everyone wanted the chance to go, they decided to draw rocks to determine that Eva would be the one with the chance to possibly earn an advantage. For her journey, Eva played a game which was more like a challenge where she'd have to stack four rows of blocks in a circle in order to protect her vote that would be otherwise lost if she failed to complete the task in the required time. If she wanted to earn the Knowledge Is Power advantage then she'd have to stack eight rows high. With two advantages already in her possession and wanting to ensure that her alliance retains the power in voting numbers, Eva decided to stop successfully at four rows rather than going for a third advantage. Upon Eva's return to camp and her truthful recounting of the

Denton Davidson Reality TV May 7, 2025 In the grand culmination of lucky Season 13, the final four battle it out for the Golden Mask trophy on The Masked Singer! Four mystery celebs will be unmasked, but only one can walk away a winner as Nick Cannon hosts "The Two-Hour Lucky Season 13 Finale" episode of The Masked Singer airing Wednesday, May 7 (8 p.m. ET/PT) on Fox. So far this season, 11 famous faces have been unmasked: Cedric the Entertainer as Honey Pot, Oscar De La Hoya as Fuzzy Peas, Aubrey O'Day as Ant, Scheana Shay as Bat, Flavor Flav as Space Ranger, James Van Der Beek as Griffin, Candace Cameron Bure as Cherry Blossom, Method Man as Stud Muffin, Erika Jayne as Yorkie, Matthew Lawrence as Paparazzo, and Edwin McCain as Nessy. Find out who the final four are by following our live blog below.Pearl Kicking things off is the show-stopping Pearl, who shares what making the finale means to the performer who always brings shine and sizzle to the stage: "Every time I put on this Pearl costume, I think it's so strange that I've pulled off being this bejeweled princess. It's so unlike me. I'd say the hoodie and sweatpants is more in line with who I am. What can I say? I'm gritty, raw, unapologetic. I've always been that way. A lot of times, especially when I was first starting out, it stood in the way of my success. I'll never forget this one time I was singing for a record exec, and I see out of the corner of my eye, him writing down 'N-O.' I was about to break into tears right then there, so I just closed my eyes, kept on going, and finished the audition. Turns out, what that note said was 'N-O-W.' Sign her now! What a difference one letter can make. Even after all these years, I think people still don't know what I'm capable of ¡ª until now! Being here, I've been able to come out of my shell and show my range. Tonight, I'm hoping to get another 'W.' It would mean the world to win that Golden Mask trophy." Pearl sang "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree" by KT Tunstall before receiving a surprise phone call from her daughter. Pearl responded, "That means the world. I'm so proud of my daughter. To hear her say that she's proud of me ¡ª I'm floored. I am crying." The panelists' then reviewed their guesses for the season including Shania Twain, Faith Hill, Kacey Musgraves, Madonna, Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, and Melissa Etheridge. Coral Next up is Coral, who shares what this journey has been like for her: "As a little girl, I had those Audrey Hepburn Breakfast at Tiffany's dreams. Staring at the old Hollywood movies from the other side ¡ª wishing one day to be just like the glamorous stars in them. My wish came true! I became a part of one of the biggest franchises of all time. Now there are little girls watching me! It's so surreal. But, I didn't want it to just stop there. For years I was trying to release my music ¡ª to be a pop star. But people weren't listening. They just thought of me as that girl from those movies. The Masked Singer is the perfect place to come when you've got something to prove. Here, I was given the opportunity to show that I am a triple threat. I've grown so much since I've started this. I've found my confidence, I've found my range, and I've even found that I can do it all in knee-high boots! Tonight, I'm dreaming about that trophy. Winning it would take me over the moon." Coral sang "Moon River" by Audrey Hepburn before receiving a surprise phone call from her dad. Coral responded, "It means so much. Coming on this show, I just wanted to be more confident in my singing and performing. My dad and mom are my biggest supporters." The panelists' then reviewed their guesses for the season including Rachel Zegler, Meg Donnelly, Sofia Carson, Dove Cameron, Hailee Steinfeld

Fw: Astronomy Picture of the Day (5/07/2025): Galaxy Wars: M81 versus M82
Astronomy Picture of the Day Discover the cosmos! Each day a different image or photograph of our fascinating universe is featured, along with a brief explanation written by a professional astronomer. 2025 May 7 Galaxy Wars: M81 versus M82 Image Credit & Copyright: Collaborative Astrophotography Team (CAT) Explanation: In the upper left corner, surrounded by blue arms and dotted with red nebulas, is spiral galaxy M81. In the lower right corner, marked by a light central line and surrounded by red glowing gas, is irregular galaxy M82. This stunning vista shows these two mammoth galaxies locked in gravitational combat, as they have been for the past billion years. The gravity from each galaxy dramatically affects the other during each hundred-million-year pass. Last go-round, M82's gravity likely raised density waves rippling around M81, resulting in the richness of M81's spiral arms. But M81 left M82 with violent star forming regions and colliding gas clouds so energetic the galaxy glows in X-rays. This big battle is seen from Earth through the faint glow of an Integrated Flux Nebula, a little studied complex of diffuse gas and dust clouds in our Milky Way Galaxy. In a few billion years, only one galaxy will remain.
