OK you got a Lot 5 lathe.? The 6 means the number of speeds it will turn and B-4 is a designation for a 7 ? inch swing lathe. Also you have a 30 inch bed model. For some reason I can only view your pictures by right clicking and hitting preview.? Something wrong with my computer I think.?? So you have any parts for your tail stock other than just the castings???? You will not find any back plates that fit your lathe the only way to get one is make one or have one made.? The 1 ? - 12 spindle nose is a very rare size.?? Dennis

I just got a dalton 6 b-4 I think, are there any manuals, drawings, schematics, and that stuff? I am looking for a back plate, 3/4 jaw chuck and tail stock parts. Some things I can make, some things I can't; any help would be appreciated.

Also Ryan this is what your lathe looked like when new.? This is my lathe that is the same model as yours.? Only difference is mine is on the cast iron cabinet with chip tray.? Dennis.
