John we think the lot 5 came out in 1922 or 23. The 1922 patent number covers the end door hinge used on the TL pattern makers lathe. Think you have the lowest Lot 5 serial number. We need to see a

My last shop had a 16" shaper used only for a blind 3" key .Took about 20 hrs a piece at $500 a pop. Also had a baby planer used to machine the edges of a 6' cylindrical mesh basket for assembly.
