Without seeing the collets, it's difficult to say what you have. There are collet chucks that don't use a draw bar. I'm thinking of spring collets and flex collets. But I'm not familiar with ones

....perhaps my lathe was used differenly. I have in my box of goodies, a bunch of collets and an adapter like a morse 1-2 that fits in the spindle. There are no threads on the collets to take them up

Hi Mike and Jim Yes the Lot 2 3 4 and 5 only use 3C collets. The Lot 6 and the we think Lot 7 or 8 (unfound models) used the 3C and the 4C. Ya know Jim I am still fussing over us not getting that

Mike, I added some pics of my collet closer for my B-6. The album is Lot 6 s/n 167. If you have a Lot 4, I believe it only uses 3c collets. The dimensions for 3c collets can be found
