Good evening - It took a while to get in but thanks to Paul, I tried
again and succeeded :). We are in the process of packing up to move
1/2 mile from our current home and the pictures are up in a storage
facility. When I get up next week, I'll try to locate it. I had
written on the names on the back of my picture so we can fill in the
remainder of the names. Yes, Betty, the individual you identified was
Sue Lehman. I think there was a Gary Bosley in our class, but that
will be confirmed later. Trying to keep warm -2 here in Central New
York this morning and about 10 degrees now - a heat wave will be coming
in this week 47!

Some of the treasurers we have kept!

Stay warm

Betty Ann (Hochstetler) Blackman

Hi Betty,
I explained my name change from Adeline to Addie for dalton59. When
did you begin using elizabeth? Just curious. It was good to get a
phone call from Nancy Withrich several weeks ago and it's good to see
all these names that I've not thought of in years.

It's a long story, but when my kids - were 8 and 10, I remarried and one day Vonda, (the 8 year old) said "mom, your name sounds so corny? Betty Blackman - you should use the name Elizabeth" and Craig (10) agreed....so at that time I has also changed jobs and the use of my formal name for signing documents became the norm.? Some of my old close friends still call me Betty or Betty Ann?- but most everyone around here knows me as Elizabeth - even my husband calls me Elizabeth.? - Sometimes that throws a curve to my siblings, but they've gotten used to it.
?
Guess I have to start writing a little about what I've been doing -
?
Still Betty around long time friends.

Yes, I can understand.? When Paul was helping me with e-mail problems, he had to ask whether I preferred Addie or Adeline.? I prefer Addie but for old school friends, Adeline is fine.? I think it's interesting to hear how we've change certain things and why.? Guess I'm the kind of person who likes human interest stories as opposed to science fiction.

Speaking of names - I was Corky through high school then in May, 1967 immediately after I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania I took a job as a nursing supervisor at a large teaching hospital.? I was 25 at the time and needed all the credibility I could get so I said my name was Corrine.? I only knew one other person at the hospital and she swore she would never tell.? That's my name story.? Corrine

Corrine,
So - does that mean we should call you Corrine and try not to slip-up even when Corky is on the tip of our tongue?? Are you still at the U of Penn?
