The following message was sent to a few classmates by Don and Beth Johnson. I am repeating it here for those who did not receive it.
Hello, Shirley Wyss called this evening to let us know that Jim Smith's wife passed away a week ago Thursday. Shirley asked us if we would pass the news on to classmates who we have email addresses. If you can pass the message on to others, we would appreciate it. If you would like to send a card, Jim's address is: 6022 Muffly Avenue SW, Navarre, Ohio 44662. There were no calling hours, funeral or obituary in the paper. She was a very private person. Jim had gone into Mel's to get his hair cut and told Mel. So we are using this way to get the word out. It would be nice to let Jim know we are thinking of him.
