I am dead on serious about my list. Concerning entertainment performances live and in person: We went to Gruene Hall yesterday (in New Braunfels-kind of close) to see Gurf Morlix and Ray Bonneville for free. Gruene Hall has free Sunday entertainment in an old dance hall setting. It was great. We are almost groupies for live entertainment for relatively unknown but great sounding entertainers at house concerts. We are regular attendees at Alamo RV Park house concerts in Boerne. Great entertainment because the host insists on his house rules-- no cell phones and absolute quiet while the entertainers sing and play their guitars or whatever. There is a potluck dinner before the performance and desserts at intermission. Do you have any house concerts close to Allen? Check out to see what kinds of acts perform there. We were in Allen at Thanksgiving but I think you were in Ohio then. Hope your Patsy Cline routine is going well. As far as tv shows, make sure you see Pit Boss this Saturday on Animal Planet. The season's premiere starts then (around 9pm central time). Still trying to figure out how to type correctly without making mistakes for these e-mails. Every time I make a mistake and use the backspace key it messes up the sentence length and paragraphs and makes me look incompetent (which is probably accurate). You told me once how to make the contents look right. Can you clue me in again as to how to do the correction routine and make the sentences look pristine (as though I had not made typing mistakes)? I admire those who do intelligent looking e-mails--unlike me. I never will get used to the touch of electric typewriters and computer keyboards. What the world needs is a keyboard with the touch of the old klutzy typewriters we had at Dalton High. Hard to believe I actually got an A in typing. All I remember is the ticking metronome which Mrs. Eshelman used to get us to speed up. Glad to hear someone actually read my dalton59 posting.
