Request from Reunion Committee
Hello to all,
This morning I uploaded the two documents recently received from the Reunion Committee. I uploaded them to the "files" section of the Dalton59 Yahoo group site. The two documents are: 1. Memory Scrapbook Letter.doc 2. Memory Scrapbook Form.doc You should have received an email from me that contains a link you can click on to go directly to these two files. You will need to have Microsoft Word (or a similar word processing program) loaded on you computer in order to view these files. If you are able view these files, you should be able to print them. If anyone is unable to do this, let me know and I will print a copy and send them to you. I have also copied and pasted the contents of the two documents below, but the formatting is not very good, especially the formatting of the Memory Scrapbook Form.doc, so it will be better if you can open up the original files. Paul Sturpe September 15, 2008 Dear Classmates: Thinking of your 2009 vacation plans? Do your plans include our 50th class reunion? Our last correspondence included a survey where you indicated that a top priority for the reunion is a Memory Scrapbook. To accomplish this, we need your response. We have attached a form for you to complete. We suggest that you put it at the top of your "to do" list. If possible, please complete and mail or e-mail your answers by the week of November 17th, so our completion deadline can be met. The book will document our development into the wonderfully mature people we've become. Class pictures will be included in the book. If you did not begin 1st grade in Dalton, but managed to save an elementary school picture or childhood snapshot, please copy and forward it to us. The goal is one individual elementary school picture of each classmate. Candid shots of the elementary or high school years are also welcomed. Please label pictures with the name of the student(s), and indicate if you want them returned. Also, did you happen to save a Prom Dress, Band or Letter Jacket, Sport Jersey, Cheerleading Outfit, etc? Put it on, have someone take a picture of you. (O.K., hold it and have someone take a picture of you) and send it to us. We want everyone to respond, whether you plan to attend or not, so we have a complete record of our class. If you need motivation, imagine this as an assignment from Miss Campbell. If you fail to respond, we reserve the right to "manufacture" answers for you and find suitable pictures to display. (just kidding) You will be receiving more info as time goes on and plans are confirmed. We look forward to hearing from you SOON. Sincerely, Memory Scrapbook Committee C. 开云体育Lanny,
?
Chuck
suggests one way to do it and depending on your computer and word processing
skills, that may be the best way to do it.? The only down side to that
method is that you will have to send the completed form to the committee via
snail mail (yuch!)
?
Another way is to download the Microsoft Word Files from the "Files"
section of the Dalton59 Yahoo Group site.?? Then save a copy of those
files to a folder on your computer or to your desktop.
?
Next,
open those files with Microsoft Word (or any word processing program that will
read Microsoft Word files.)?
?
Now
you should be able to "fill in the blanks" by editing the document.? Then
re-save it with the changes and email it to the committee.

Try printing it and hand writing it into the printed form.
