Lanny's corn shuck story was great! The farmers outfoxed them.

Anybody else have a story about off the wall things we did?

I recall one time a group of us (not sure who was part of this stunt)
thought it would be funny to stretch a roll of toilet paper across a
dark road at night and watch cars come to a screaching stop. I think
the place we chose was the road from Route 30 to Kidron (Kidron
Road?).
That was pretty stupid as we could have caused someone to wreck. It
seemed funny at the time. The toilet paper looked like a fence across
the road. Very ingenious and very stupid. But it worked. I don't
know who the poor soul was who came to a screaching stop but he is
probably still cursing us out.

Another dumb thing we did was to go bushwhacking with our lights out
and then turn them on when we found a car parked on the side of the
road we would turn our lights on. There's nothing like driving down
the road with your light off.

Bucking snowdrifts was fun too. One time Shookup (Don Johnson) was
doing that and he got too far off the road and hit a barbed wire
fence which got wrapped around the driveshaft of his car. What a
time we had trying to get his car back on the road again.

Just a few of the dumb things we did. There wer probably many more
which I have forgotten.
