With experience in casting feature films, TV shows and industrials, Donise has always concentrated on commercials. WHAT TO EXPECT FOR BASIC CLASSES: ? an overview of the industry ? the reality of the hard work involved ? an evaluation of head shots and resumes ? getting/keeping an agent ? marketing hints ? networking opportunities ? and insider tips that only a Casting Director with her vast experience would know Whom better to take a class with than someone who has literally seen hundreds of thousands of auditions? Prepare to be on-camera auditioning both solo and with partners. Each commercial is taped, played back and critiqued to allow for astonishingly quick improvement. WHAT TO EXPECT FOR ADVANCED CLASSES: This intensive one-day workshop is specifically for actors who have already taken an on-camera commercial workshop with Donise and is by invitation only. The day consists of continuous on-camera practice, intensive coaching and individual critique. You will be provided 3 scripts a week prior to the workshop in order to perform for Saturday’s class. Please wear proper wardrobe, hair, makeup and bring props (if warranted) for each of the commercials you will be performing. Your first take is taped. We then work on the performance until we are satisfied and tape it again so that you will see the difference! Individualized attention is of paramount importance, so enrollment in all classes is strictly limited to 12 students. With everyone’s safety in mind, all students/parents will be required to be fully vaccinated and prepared to provide proof. Masks will be required for others.
