Adalay’s sister and the town librarian. She has a secret that she hides from her family and the town, and wanders the woods on a regular basis. Quiet and one of those who always watches but is seldom in the social scene, she is the meek one, opposite Adalay.

JACOB TWIGGS | MAN | 15 - 17 | Legal age must be 18+ | Hispanic or White
Jacob is a Loner and outcast. He is a musician. He and his friends form a small rock group that plays at the local bar across from the main pier. Quiet, he becomes one of the ones who is acutely aware of the supernatural elements at work in the town. Visits the Island Cemetery on a regular basis.

Tess likes Jacob and follows the rock group. She is opposite Frances and not a prom queen. Keeps horses with her family on Old Hightower Road which is a secret entrance to the old logging roads into the National Forest Reserves.

A recluse on Frog Pond Road whose family has been in Hiawassee since the foundation of the city. Educated, she attends church and is active in volunteer work and humanitarian causes. Do you dread getting a script for an audition and seeing a huge block of text?? Worry no more! This workshop will help you understand how to pick a great monologue, how to transition seamlessly between monologues for live performances, why there is no ‘perfect’ monologue, what auditors want to see, and more! Please bring a monologue (or two!) to work on. If you don’t have a monologue, let me know and I’ll pull something for you. This workshop is applicable for film or stage monologue work.? We are putting together a special event: a behind the scenes look at virtual auditions from the casting/client perspective. We are inviting actors (adult actors? and the parents of child/teen actors) to join a 2-hour zoom event and get insider information and feedback on self taping, the client’s view, live virtual auditions/callbacks, and how the casting side works from Casting Director, Kina Bale-Reed’s perspective. We will go over the good, the bad, and the ugly, share real stories, show you what to do / not to do in your audition tapes, and give you helpful advice when uploading and submitting audition tapes.?This is an informational seminar only. There will be a Q/A the last portion of the event. Limited spots available!
