We have not finished with after the orc supper.? My first question about your post.? May we assume that we all were awakened by the Man's cries for help. And may we assume we all jumped out of our bedrolls, bolted outside with everyone else to hear all that he has said? If so, than we can all react with that in mind.? Also, unless you took the feat where you can sleep in armor, you will suffer penalties the next day if you sleep in it.?

The later plans for Sweet William that I alluded to in an earlier email, were that I was going to have him sleep outdoors - axe near his hand -?in the shadows of the wolf kennel, knowing that they would mask his scene and warn him of an attack. Luna Eclipse (Lilmyra/Beslen) #1910 Sweet, this is where you might need to ask if the creature is in range of a javelin or not. Such weapons are not designed for vertical flight really either. (Also, this is why Beslen said what he said to Sweet lol)??
Esther #1911 Anrah does not sleep, but trances in wolf form.? (she does not distrust the orcs, but there are things that could happen to elf maidens that tend not to happen to female wolves, so she spends her trance hours in wolf form). That brings up something that always needs a word from the DM.. elves in trance and perception checks in 5e.? The text says they remain aware of their surroundings while in trance, but it is common to rule they take Disadvantage on their passive perception checks because they are already performing a mental exercise.? However, now it does not seem to end there, and this is my first time playing a Rogue Inquisitive so maybe I am wrong, but their 3rd level ability says it lets them make full Wisdom (Perception) checks as bonus actions, which would throw out the argument for Disadvantage since it is an explicit class feature now that they can do Perception well while doing something else as their main action..? so I might have inadvertently created a perfect watchdog (well, wolf) that can sit there and be on watch even while in trance?! So.. help!? But it has been over four days now waiting for a reply, what is the etiquette for this situation?? Luna Eclipse (Lilmyra/Beslen) #1921 I think the issue is that we need to pump the brakes a bit. It takes time, sometimes to compose posts. Raina is pretty consistent but there is alot to cover and alot of interaction and character development opportunity here. being somewhat out of sync also can cause delays, which we are. Coming to the fort, going inside the longhouse, stowing the horses, Rping inside the longhouse, RPing? outside the longhouse with the orcs.(where some of us are) There is still RPing going back to the longhouse and getting ready for the night. I mean, Beslen hasn't even had his pipe or sharpened his sword yet! :-)
