Stone Shape
4th-level transmutation
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Touch
Components: V, S, M (soft clay, which must be worked into roughly the desired shape of the stone object)?
Duration: Instantaneous
You touch a stone object of Medium size or smaller or
a section of stone no more than 5 feet in any dimension and form it into any shape that suits your purpose. So, for example, you could shape a large rock into a weapon, idol, or coffer, or make a small passage through a wall, as long as the wall is less than
5 feet thick. You could also shape a stone door or its frame to seal the door shut. The object you create can have up to two hinges and a latch, but finer mechanical detail isn¡¯t possible.

Flynn?slips a long thin twisted wire from his left cuff and states intently at the trapped pyramid. He raises the lid a hair¡¯s breadth and
feeds the probe inside. Prodding, twisting, and poking he struggled momentarily to find the hinge and gear mechanism. He then retracts the wire, gives it a sharp bend about three fingers from the tip, and twists the end into a reverse S.

Reinserting the probe, he feels again for the hinge and, finally finding the gear, gives a counterclockwise twist to slip it from its axle. Confident that the manacles are disabled, he turns his attention to the needles. ¡®Levenfingers offers
a sandstone file but Flynn waves it away, drawing a small weighted bead on a string from an outside pocket. Lowering it through the opening he caroms it around to intentionally trigger the needlesprings. Now that all traps are disabled and sprung, he accepts

North?takes to flight, circling the room to examine it in detail. In the center is an enormous, tarnished copper raft, crafted to resemble
a dragon, bearing a copper coffin. Inside the coffin are the bones of a Payit nobleman. Scattered around the interior are the ornaments once worn by the corpse. These items include a stone box, two jade bracelets, and an alabaster statuette of a snake woman.
Cradled in the crook of the elbow of the corpse's right arm is a baton of granite. And upon the skull is a ferret-faced, feathered mask.?
?
The raft is afloat on a sea of silvery-white, flowing metal, fed by several rivers that trail along the floor of the room. The flowing liquid appears to be cool.
?
Between the waterways, stepped pyramid-temples rise skyward in mute paean to the gods of ancient Olman. Three of the pyramids appear to have tops that can be removed. In the rest of the area, a royal complex sprawls across verdant fields, and
courtyards and ringed marketplaces dot the miniature countryside. Several places that represent royal granaries in the modeled city are actually stone bins.
?
The clay pots on the porch are sealed with wax.
?
While?North?looks around,?Flynn?will
examine and then attempt to disarm the trap discovered by ¡®Levenfingers. ¡°It¡¯s a needle trap,¡± the Rogue states confidently. ¡°Looks like a grapple clamp.¡±
