exciting time with a very impressive website and the opportunity to rekindle
our communications and, perhaps, revive research that has been set aside for
a time.
Diane and I want to encourage you to make us of this group with your brick
walls, successes, questions and whatever answers you may have for others'
queries. To begin with, introductions are encouraged, including some
history about yourself etc. If we can feel like a "family" we might get
more out of being here. We definitely do not want to make this such a strict

Saying Thanks To Our Front-Line Workers
First of all,
To all of you who are involved in the "front lines" of this corona virus war
- Thank You for all you are doing. Without you we would be in dire straits.
Secondly,
Diane and I thought it would be a good thing to share what is happening in
your locations as far as showing appreciation to everyone involved in
fighting the spread of this horrendous pandemic that has plagued the world.
Please feel free to share what your community is doing in that regard. We
have all seen the firefighters gathered to applaud the health workers.
Diane says that she and her neighbors stand outside their doors and clap for
the health workers. She suggests singing (to the tune of "Happy Birthday")

My ancestor is? King? Louis XVII of France. I’ve written a book about it that is the National Library of Ireland. Its quite a story. I’d be happy to share the story.

My ancestor was Louis XVII of France. Here is his story.

The French Revolution dates to September 21, 1789.? Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI had their heads cut off. They put little Louis in Bastille prison with his sister Marie.?

Now Sir Edmund Burke, the Irish politician knew Marie Antoinette before she was Queen of France. He gained access to the children in Bastille Prison.? Around Christmas, Burke smuggled little Louis out of Bastille. He brought them to Ireland.
Indeed, Nostradamus has a verse: They will come to go in the corner of the Luna (corner=90 degrees =1/4 of a circle = quarter moon.), where they will be taken to a strange land (Cork, Ireland).? It was rumored that Louis XVII was smuggled out of Bastille at
Christmas time.

Marie Antoinette had a bastard child named Jacques Armand, with her brother-in-law. He has the same DNA as Louis XVII.? Jacques Armand was dying so they replaced Louis XVII with him.

Thomas went on to be educated as a schoolteacher when schools were illegal in Ireland. Royalty marries royalty, so Louis married Margaret O’Brien. In Limerick at the Cathedral.? Thomas taught school in silver mines in Tipperary.? Margaret
O’Brien and Louis had 10 children, the eldest of whom was John Cusack. Thomas and Margaret sailed for Saint John New Brunswick Canada -a bustling shipbuilding city at the time.? They sailed aboard the Ward Morning Star in March 26, 1833, from Limerick under
the alias “Ryan”. Two of the 10 kids gave their names as C ----gh. The ship’s list reports that there were no parents on board the ship with this name. Where he got the money for the passage of 12 people, we do not know.

When they arrived in Saint John (West Quaco), they purchased 100 acres of land and named the place Ryan Settlement. Where he got the money to buy 100 acres of land we do not know.? Thomas applied to be a schoolteacher -we have the license
application. Half the children moved to Massachusetts, USA. The eldest so moved to Mosse Lake in the State of Maine where he was known as John the Hermit King. His kids had no kids. The other half stayed in Saint John. I’m six generations from Thomas John
Cusack. I’m Paul Thomas Cusack, and my father is Donald Thomas Cusack.

So, when his wife Margaret died, Thomas remarried under the name Collins. He had 4 boys: Thomas; John; Charles; Louis. He died in the Cholera in 1854 outbreak at the Pierce Harness shop. He is buried in St Mary’s cemetery in Saint John
under the name John Mooney. Of this, I’m not positive. The rest? I’m positive.

And that is the story of Luis XVII.

I wasn’t the heir, but I became the heir because others declined. To date, I have no children. I’m 55. The next in line is my cousin Thomas Cusack who has a son, Nicholas. Then is his brother Geoffery who also has a son too. They both live
on the Kingston Peninsula in Saint John. My complete family genealogy is published in a modified register in the local library.
