October 24, 1971 SEPTA's Red Arrow division closed the Llanerch car house, which was isolated from the system after the Ardmore trolley line was converted to bus operation. on December 29, 1966. All trolleys were relocated to,the 69th Street shops of the Market-Frankford line in Upper Darby, which were owned by the City division.
