DQ20 woofer

 

Hey all. Looks like I should have pulled the grills when I purchased the speakers. I've been hoodwinked. The images are what I found while doing a cap replacement. Any opinion on these and what aftermarket would you suggest for a 12" hole that I have available? Something reasonable please.?

Yeah this is not an Advent Driver but they can be had easily. Try Simply Speakers?

This is a replacement that has been well received. A good choice if you can’t find the original 10” in a 12” frame woofer.?

Same thing happened to me when I got mine, realistic speakers were in my 10s. It's disappointing but curable. One of the members here supplied me with a good pair that needed refoaming. This group supports its dalquist enthusiasts.

Hey all! I Want to thank you all for your input (and comforting). I should have done more due diligence before the transaction! My lesson! Hey I'd love to see some of fellow members gear! I'd like to see others Dahlquist setups! I think the line for over-improvment is pretty wide...as I love the look of Dahlquist. They aren't your HPM-XXX! So what you got! Mick
