Dq10 array?

First post,
I’ve read everything in this group so many times. The amount of information here is incredible. I am in the middle of a thorough restoration of one of my pairs of dq10 s . When finished I will have 1 pair dq10 and pair dq-1w with lp-1 bi amped. After looking at crossover layout , has anyone tried stacking just the mid bass, mid, tweet, supertweeter, in baffles above standard dq10? I’ve seen whole speakers stacked . I don’t think I’m going to need bass from two more 10” woofers.I’m ?curious as I have several spare parts I’ve accumulated over the years.

Sounds interesting. In the case of parallel connections I'm unsure what halfing the driver impedance will reflect upon the xover. Depending on how much headroom exist in the OEM design.?I'm assuming it might cause some restrictions due to higher current demand.??

But ya never know till you try so try both series and parallel connected.

If you are talking about just running the drivers in parallel that will not work correctly without redesigning the crossover.
Also the bass driver must be present as it is part of the ?one midrange signal path.

There would likely not be a big advantage even if you did this.
Interesting proposal though.

My original thought is to place baffles and drivers in their normal configuration on mdf with dimensions same as top of bass cabinet with their own crossover. ?I intend to mount on an adjusting ?stand on same frontal plane ?then play with height. Probably will yield negligible improvement but why not!
