DQ-LP1 settings query

 

Quick question for those running DQ-10s and 2 DQ-1 woofers through the DQ-LP1. What are your preferred settings?

This will be completely room and woofer placement dependent. It takes some work, but you will know the right settings when you hear the subs contribute to the solidity of the music and ?become omnidirectional.

I started at (from left to right) 6, 0, 65, 65, 0, 6. I then dialed them in to where the subs disappeared as sources. For me, this is currently 4, 0, 65, 62, 0, 6.

My subs are on same wall as my sofa, in the corners facing the DQ-10s, and at unequal distances ?to the my ideal listening spot. I will sometimes up the level half a dot or so if I want the bass to pound and annoy my wife.

Do you have the LP-1 manual? I believe it is here in the files section. I found it invaluable in my set up efforts.?
 

Thanks for your input. I spent some time yesterday playing around and realized it can be very music genre dependent. I'm at 5.5, 0, 65,56, 0, 5.5 for the time being.

Lots of variables mentioned : another is the power of the sub amp! Another the recording!?
