Durs, the DQ-1 passive crossover is set for 80 or 60 Hz and I have both the DQ-10¡¯s and the DQ-20i¡¯s, the 10¡¯s are more dynamic but the 20¡¯s are a sweeter sound, more crisp and pronounced.

Hi Matt, I don't believe a spacer was ever required. And if you deem one is needed I'd seriously question if the surround or cone is correct. I've seen at least 5 different surrounds being marketed.
