It certainly can. It depends upon why the Tweeder stoped working. If it is shorted the super tweeter will not work.

A sub(s) can change the entire tonal balance of a speaker and usually for the better if integrated correctly. For some rooms this can be a little challenging. Two subs will almost always integrate better than one. ?

I have my dq10’s sitting on top of subs and lp1 set at 70hz,level at 1 o’clock,eq at 1 o’clock, and been happy. I’ll have to watch the video and see if I like it better ? Not sure I can live with placement on sides of my listening point?see images

beautiful pair of DQ-10s for sale.
I have two pairs and will sell either pair. Both are Walnut and black. one pair is all original unmodified and in unblemished condition. numbers 26995,26996. Woofer surrounds have been replaced. ? The other pair numbers 4340,4341 have been professionally modified with new wiring, posts, and ?crossover components. Both pairs sound identically superb to me, are in "like new" condition, and I will part with either pair and keep the other. Unmodified pair for sale for $450. Modified pair for sale for $600. I also have an original pair of the 3 column taller DQ10 stands (about 7 out of 10 condition) for sale with either pair for an additional $125. ? Available in Nashville Tn. for pickup. If to be shipped arrangements and payment must be made by buyer. I also have an extra DQ10 (large advent) woofer for $80 plus $15 shipping Respond to jrs85@...?if interested in any of these.

Sounds great. Cosmetics aren’t as important as functionality for the DQ1 subs I still have a an original one I haven’t touched anything as far as changing our Bam sir any of the modifications it works definitely is a big asset in the bass department I have an MX one that I used with all single subwoofer but since I have two subs and an LP one and the Macintosh 200 W amplifier to drive the subs and a 300 W amplifier to drive to Dq10’s’s it’s system sounds great I have a friend who has the two subs needs the LP one to make it sing look forward to getting it done thank you Richard

I have a REL B2 and I was gonna use this but I need to simplify my life since the sub has its own electronics. Some caps were replaced but I’ve never hooked it up. Overall it’s about a 7 or 8 out of 10 I’ll send pics tomorrow.
