Hi all! ?I have been kind of a lurker, as I didn’t have anything I had to do on my speakers. ?I own 4 pair of Dahlquists, some m907’s, my original pair of DQM-5’s I bought as a college student in the 80’s at Magnolia HI-Fi on Roosevelt in Seattle, and two pair of nice little bookshelf m903’s. ?None are the sexy 10’s or 20’s people talk about most here. ?But I do love the Dahlquist sound.
Both the DQM-5’s and the m907’s have been reformed. ?The m903’s don’t need it as they have rubber surrounds. ?None have been re-capped. ?I am not aware of any specific issue with the crossovers in any of them, and they all sound pretty good. ?The DQM-5’s obviously are the oldest and maybe could use it. ?Also, I think Regnar’s crossover has some sort of improvement for those. ?
