I am Debbie and my Roy and I live in Gratiot, OH.? We have 8 rescued dachshunds:? Daisy is15 yrs. old(Smooth Red Dapple),? Scamp is 14(Smooth Blk/Tan), George is 12 (Smooth Red), Meadow is 11(Longhaired Blk/Tan), Tebow is10 (Smooth Red), Tessie is10(Smooth Red) Winnie is 10(Smooth Red) & Polly will be 10 next month (Smooth Blk/Tan)

I am Carl Belken from Missouri USA.
I am owned by a miniature longhaired dachshund, a ten year old female named Dolly. Both me and my wife were large dog lovers, especially German Shepherds. We had no use for small dogs and I in particular disliked dachshunds. We are old and semi disabled and we said we'd never own another dog. Dolly originally belonged to my next door neighbor and she hated both me and my wife. As I write this Dolly is asleep on my shoulders snoring. A snoring dachshund is a very relaxing thing. My wife and I have discovered that dachshunds have many of the noble qualities a German Shepherd has but in a smaller and easier to handle package. |
