urine

no problem).

problem with
is the

of my taxes to
people who
don't have to
pass a urine
test.?

Shouldn't
one have to

test to get a
welfare check
because I have
to pass one to
earn it for
them?

helping people

Gwen has mentioned this a few times.? I just ordered the Sentry
3.1 call screener.? I am going crazy with all the garbage calls to
the point where I do not even want to answer the phone.? Get 10 to
15 junk calls a day and they come from all over, all different
caller id numbers so impossible to block them all (my phone only
holds 30 blocked numbers).? I did not get this sooner because my
phone is a wall mount directly into the wall jack so I figured I
could not add the Sentry.? Decided it would work fine on another
jack connected to a land line in another room.? So I went ahead
and ordered it!
I sure have had it with the junk calls!??? Ginny

We were about to make a snide comment about SmartPhones perhaps
not being so smart after all if they do not allow one to remove unwanted
portions from email replies. But our hoomin suggested such a comment would be
unkind and out of line. Therefore, we will keep our mouths shut on that subject
and simply ignore the unwanted portions of emails from our friends who use
smart phones.

It sure is nice hearing from you on a reguarl basis, Ms Lisa! We
don¡¯t believe we know who your cats are. The Swiggcats are Snowflake,
White Fang, Igor, Gray Ghost and Gus. Our hoomin servant is
Debbie L, who waits on us paw-and-tail. We live in North Central Florida, up a
long dirt road in the middle of nowhere. Gus, an all-black cat, was rescued by
our hoomin¡¯s mother many years ago on Halloween morning. Snowflake came to live
wih us after her hoomins separated and neither of them wanted her. The rest of
us were found roaming the land surroundig our hoomin¡¯s house, and she took us
in and has provided us with a comfortable home.

Fw: Urge Laval to Stop Using Piglets for Pediatrics Training
Dear Ms. Nipper, Last month, we posted a billboard in Qu¨¦bec City to call attention to Laval University's use of live piglets to train pediatrics residents. We also filed a petition with the province's ministers of Higher Education and Health and Social Services, asking them to ensure that public funds are no longer wasted by the university on this practice.
Laval's is the only pediatrics residency in Canada and the United States known to use live animals for training. Meanwhile, 220 other programs exclusively use human-relevant training methods. Our billboard and petition earned extensive media coverage, generating bad press for this last holdout. Now we need your help to increase the public pressure. In Laval's course, pediatrics residents are instructed to insert a needle into the sac surrounding each animal's heart, surgically open a vein, insert a catheter into a major blood vessel, and make an incision between the animal¡¯s ribs to insert a tube into the chest cavity. At this point, the piglets are then killed, and trainees surgically open the animals' airways to insert a breathing tube.
