We fear Yahoo! groups may soon become a thing of the past. We’re not ready to switch to Facebook or Twitter or SnapChat or any of the other currently popular platforms and we’re too old to “change horses” to keep up with the whims of the 18-to-35 demographics. In fact, if we had our own way we’d do away with cell phones and go back to the good old, reliable, landline phones. We get tired of the younger generations running into us in Walmart because their eyes were glued to their SmartPhones and their thumbs were busy keying in text messages to their nearest-and-dearest … not to mention the numerous automobile accidents resulting from drivers reading and thumbing in text messages instead of looking where their vehicles are going.
