Hello I ended to code an alternative to JT alert which is named "Wait and Pounce". https://sourceforge.net/projects/wait-and-pounce-ft8/ While I read the doc there https://www.dxlabsuite.com/commander/Help/NetworkService.htm I don't understand yet how to handle and what to send to Commander My main goal to make it simple, is to send message to Commander to set a new QRG to my TX. Is that possible? If so how should I format my UDP message? Thanks for your help C¨¦dric, F5UKW

Imported adif files not showing in DXkeeper
2
I've been away and finally got to importing 2400 WPX SSB Q's into DXkeeper. After import I did lotw "add requested" and then 2566 Q's were recorded as sent to lotw. approx 58000 Q's in the log. Then I noticed something that I've never used or seen before that DXkeeper "filter" box was set to show only lotw confirmed. I have no idea how the filter got set, but I had updated to the latest sw and databases prior to starting the importing of the adif. Sure enough all Q's after 1/16/2025 were not shown in DXkeeper. After 2/8/2025 I had also imported roughly 1000 Q's from WPX RTTY and sent those to lotw. After a bit of searching for how to turn of the "lotw confirmed" filter, I cleared it with no change in DXkeeper displayed log (still ended 1/16/2025) CTRL plus X clear made no change. Both adif's were imported from N1MM contest logs. Trying BAK log files also had no change, all after 1/16/2025 were missing. I suspect 1/16/2025 the last lotw upload btw. So I'm stuck in not seeing several thousand Q's which were uploaded to lotw but invisible to DXkeeper. How do I fix this?? Hypothesis: DXkeeper got stuck in displaying only lotw confirmed Q's when I imported the WPX SSB adif with the filter set. Clearing the filter now doesn't work. Grant KZ1W

TX9A Pfx showing as unknown in SpotCollector

Is there a way to set the prefix for TX9A in SpotCollector? Since it shows unknown it will not flag the appropriate needed color, nor will it email me an alert. Thanks 73, Tim N9PN

Importing wsjt-x adif file with one illegal call ends in importing the other calls in double
2
Today I worked TX9A in FT-8 everthing was logged in wsjtx adif file, where also 5 other qso, which where imported to dxkeeper already, are in. Usually the other 5 qsos are skipped, not so in this case, when the last one is "illegal" he imports the 5 and the illegal one 73 Alex, OE3JTB

#technicalhelpquestion
Hello, nice to see this group about DxLab. I've just upgraded my 'very' old version of DXLab and after some trouble with Active X I can't start Commander. The first thing is the error coming from the missing Radio Model. I search about this missing parameter in the MDB, in txt files, and in Registry, but I don't find it. So where is stored the Radio model in this software? After acknowledge this error I get a error 9 and the program exist them self. I don't find any information about the stored parameters. Is there somebody having answer? ON4RM 73

Trouble with DXKeeper
8
I did a clean up duplicate files on my DXLab computer and removed a lot of the DX Lab files.. I reinstalled the DXLab Suite and then did a update, but not every thing has come back. When I run a Recompute Actions report -- All my qso are listed as the "Broken: ARRL Section ___ is inconsistent with DXCC Entity K and State ___ and County ___,______ . I checked and all the US States have been changed as well as the County.. It appears Call, Date, band. Mode, DXCC ID (all 291) DXCC (All United States. I having another problem, but I will submit it after I get this resolved.. Thanks Dan KX7DX

DXKeeper Command line import support
5
Hi DXLab, I've done some of my own "scripts" scanning WSJT-X adi files (creating import *.adif-files) and I have a wish that that I could import those in DXKeeper from directly via a command line instead via DXKeeper menus (works fine..). It would be a another interface to communicate with DXKeeper... like cmd: DXKImport.exe /f adif-file [optional parameters]. If this is doable I would be a lucky guy ! Best rgds/73 SM0FGT - Keijo

Filter question
4
I wrote the following filter in Spot Collector: (SPSNR>ReqSNR or LPSNR>ReqSNR) and <Needfilter> and <LotWfilter> and <Modefilter> and <Bandfilter> and<Agefilter> I "expected" to get spots with SP or LP of over 50, and higher, and I do, but I also get some spots where SP and LP are both blank (NOT on six meters). Did I misunderstand something? Thanks, Earl / KD5XB e e Sent with Proton Mail secure email.

Virus software blocking dx pots dot com
7
Software that Dave recently recommended ( I cannot type it, because if I do, my email sender rejects it) is blocking dxpots.com due to a Trojan. I hav tried excluding it, I have added dxspots.com as an exclusion, I have added the ip address, I have added Spotcollector, and it continues to say the website is blocked, I am not familiar enough with the new piece of software to know what the next step is, any ideas?

discrepancy between LOTW and DXKeeper QSO totals
4
> I was trying to recover a LOTW confirmation on a single contact. I did the CTRL sync QSO's and LOTW is reporting over 100k qso's. DXK log says 76k. Is the 100k that LOTW states include other calls I have used such as DXpeditions? I am unsure where I would have made 30k qsos that got uploaded to LOTW without using DXK. I believe I can create a blank new log and then import from LOTW and find out? BTW inspecting 100k qsos takes a very long time. Mike W0MU

Importing issues
3
I am importing logs from wsjtx, jtdx, mshv etc. Most of the time I use jtalert to log to DXK at the same time but occasionally their are hiccups. When I do an import I usually get an unaccepted number of dupes. I am not sure what boxes to check for a cleaner import. I am using check duplicates on import +/- 10 mins and merge info. I might of had consider grid squares checked. Maybe I need to increase the minute range. Mike W0MU

Error while trying to create new database in DxKeeper
5
Hi everyone, I want to create a new database in DxKeeper to add QSOs that I made in a different DXCC entity than my QTH. I am going down the path Config>(Log file) New>entering filename and then getting an error message "unable to create log database (filename)". I tried 3-4 times and every time getting the same message. Searching the errorlog I found the entry: "program error 48 in module DXLogModule.CreateLog, State = 7, Pathname = C:\DXLab\DXKeeper\Databases\J45P.mdb: Error in loading DLL" If anyone could help... Thanks! Panos 73 de SV8PMM

Importing N1MM+ and/or WSJT-X logs
5
Sorry for the log email. I wanted to get what little info I had in my head out into the email. Going to include both for logging imports. I think it is the same issue for both. I know it has to be me (usually is, ask the XYL). The more that I do and learn, the more I find is not set up. Some needed, some suggested and of course personal preferences. I'm starting to understand some of Dave's logic and thoughts (not always). The part that keeps biting me, is the log imports. I've used the gateways for N1MM and/or WSJT-X/JTAlert and etc.. Every once in a while, I will see a message that a contact was not logged (sometimes not at all). Sometimes I make a note, other times I don't. It is a matter of my "free time". I know this isn't good!! I thought when you QSY to a Digital mode, the program could/will start (I guess not). I need to reread things. I also need to make sure my settings are correct. I don't think I have it all correct. Colors and a few comments are not totally setup. Problem is, when I'm testing I want to chase DX. It is a really bad habit!! When you decided to "import" the log after the contest or time on the air (WSJT-X). I have found that the QSO that was logged and the QSO that was imported have the same DATE/TIME, but are different. From what I can tell, the differences can be Name/Address/QSL MGR/Uploads to ClubLog and etc. To me, if the Call, date, time, band, mode, exchange are all the same, the QSO should be the same. I do have the "2 minute" difference checked/setup. I have the checked merge dupes checked (should it be unchecked?). What else am I missing? I decided to see if I can get the WSJT-X integration to work with DXKeeper/Spot Collector and etc. So far, It works. I'm not sure it is quite as quick or convenient, but it good. OK, I used the N1MM/DXKeeper gateway for the WPX contest with out any issues. This past weekend, I used the gateway for the ARRL DX CW contest. It looks like I'm missing some contacts in my log. I know that I have X# of Qs. When I filter my log, I see X# of Qs and the number doesn't match! When I look into the N1MM/DXKeeper Gateway, I see that there is a bunch of errors. I can paste the whole error log, but not a lot of need. Here is some of it: Set up the program prior to heading out to dinner. 2025-02-14 10:56:22 > N1MM-DXKeeper Gateway version 1.2.1 2025-02-14 10:56:22 > App.Path : C:\DXLab 2025-02-14 10:56:22 > App.exe : N1MM_DXK_GW 2025-02-14 10:56:22 > Module : C:\DXLab\N1MM_DXK_GW.exe 2025-02-14 10:56:22 > Operating System : Windows 10 Enterprise (64-bit) build 26100 2025-02-14 10:56:22 > Locale ID : 1033 (0x409) 2025-02-14 10:56:22 > ANSI CodePage : 1252 2025-02-14 10:56:22 > OEM CodePage : 437 2025-02-14 10:56:22 > Country : United States 2025-02-14 10:56:22 > Language : English 2025-02-14 10:56:22 > DecimalSeparator : . 2025-02-14 10:56:22 > ThousandSeparator : , 2025-02-14 10:56:22 > DXLab Apps : 2025-02-15 03:05:51 > Monitors : 1 2025-02-15 03:05:51 > Monitor 1 2025-02-15 03:05:51 > width : 3440 2025-02-15 03:05:51 > height : 1440 2025-02-15 03:05:51 > dimensions : (0, 0)-(3440, 1440) 2025-02-15 03:05:51.027 > TCPClientModule.SendCommand unable to connect with 10 seconds, TCPsocket.State = Closed 2025-02-15 03:05:51.036 > N1MM_DXK_UI.InformUser: TCP log directive rejected: Error: unable to connect 2025-02-15 03:05:51.045 > N1MM_DXK_UI.InformUser: DXKeeper did not log QSO with TM2Y on 160M in CW 2025-02-15 12:40:15.820 > TCPClientModule.SendCommand unable to connect with 10 seconds, TCPsocket.State = Closed 2025-02-15 12:40:15.839 > N1MM_DXK_UI.InformUser: TCP log directive rejected: Error: unable to connect 2025-02-15 12:40:15.876 > N1MM_DXK_UI.InformUser: DXKeeper did not log QSO with KP4AA on 20M in CW 2025-02-15 12:49:39.333 > TCPClientModule.SendCommand unable to connect with 10 seconds, TCPsocket.State = Closed 2025-02-15 12:49:39.350 > N1MM_DXK_UI.InformUser: TCP log directive rejected: Error: unable to connect 2025-02-15 12:49:39.360 > N1MM_DXK_UI.InformUser: DXKeeper did not log QSO with ES7A on 20M in CW 2025-02-15 13:05:15.331 > TCPClientModule.SendComm

Spot Collector wanted DXCC ONLY, no states, no zones, no continents...
5
With my spots database having over 3500 entries, the only "wanted" items are DXCC items. No continents, no zones, etc. I'm finding it hard to believe that not even ONE entry is on a band-zone or band-continent that I need. What have I done / not done here?
