begin and end times flashing red
15
Dave, When I open DXKeeper, the "begin" and "end" labels for the time of the last QSO are flashing red. DXKeeper wants me to make corrections to the last log entry before allowing me to navigate to other QSO's in the log. The begin and end times are the same for the last log entry: 12/19/2010 14:31 I imported a batch of Stew Perry Top Band contest QSO's from N1MMLogger. I didn't see this error at the time, but it could have been there and I didn't notice it. Since the import, I upgraded to DXKeeper 9.1.9. Advice as to how to fix this? Thanks. Problem with Broke Tab List
4
Occasionally I click on the “Broke” tab in DXKeeper to see what I need to fix. I found several QSOs today that would not allow me to fix them. For example, these are KH6 call signs used by a station in the continental USA. The log defaults to PAC for ARRL section and HI for state and will not allow the choice of the actual section/state of operation. WH6FAM in Maryland and KH7X in Arizona are examples where they have not used a portable indicator in a contest. 73, Lee, KY7M Virus-free.www.avg.com

Spot Collector Spot Notes Mode Override
2
Now that WSJT-X has a new FT8 mode, SuperFox it might be useful if Spot Collector recognized SFH or S/FH or similar in a spot's notes as an FT8 mode to override the subband mode as it already does for FH, F/H and fox hound. I have seen numerous spots of the current VK9XU dxpedition with "SFH" in spot notes with them operating outside the usual FT8 frequencies. Dale, AA1QD

updated eQSL AG, LoTW, RDA, and USAP databases are available ...
... via the Databases tab of DXView's Configuration window. Terminate DXKeeper and SpotCollector before directing DXView to update these databases. The eQSL AG Database contains callsigns that are Authenticity Guaranteed members of eQSL.cc. The LotW Database contains callsigns known to participate in the ARRL's Logbook of the World (LoTW). The RDA Database specifies callsigns and the Russian Districts from which they have operated. The USAP Database contains callsigns and locations for 843825 stations in the United States, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam, Marianas Islands, and American Samoa; a station's location is determined from the zipcode on file for that callsign with the US Federal Communications Commission. Thanks to Tom KQ5S for the USAP database update! 73, Dave, AA6YQ

Waterafall and SpotCollector Spots and JTALert
4
I have JTAlert set up to send spots to SpotCollector. I have SpotCollector set up to send me email alerts when a needed call is spotted. I use the DXCommander waterfall. Since JTAlert alerts me of needed calls both in a JTAlert window and via email I don't need the spots to appear on the waterfall. I really want to see just the FT* spots not originated by me. Maybe there is a DX station working on a different frequency on the band I'm working or a station is copying a needed call that I am not yet copying. Of course spots for other modes are needed so that I can change modes if needed. I don't want to turn off the JTAlerts going to SpotCollector because of the email alerts. Sometimes I would like to show less that 4 lines of spots on the waterfall. I often find I'm not getting many needed spots so there is a lot of space that could be saved by shrinking the callsign window. -- Tom-KQ5S

Cannot find Launcher
9
New Windows 11 computer. Installed Launcher successfully and used it to download and install all the other DXLab apps. All the apps have icons in the START menu and work as expected. Launcher does not have one now. Can't find an icon or other way to start Launcher and complete the migration from the old W10 computer. Brand new to W11, also.

MyQTH field will not save
9
When I log a QSO, the myQTH field highlights. It does not carry over from the myQTH tab. I have to edit the QSO, select K9JY QTH from the dropdown menu and then save the QSO again. When I go to the myQTH tab, the location is blank. I have to go to the drop down menu and select K9JY QTH and then save it. But it never sticks. I must be missing something; this seems basic. TIA….Scot, K9JY

FX-4CR Rig Control
I just got a FX4-CR V.3 (latest with USB-C) and trying to get rig control working. The radio manual says to use the Kenwood 590S and the settings are 115,200, 8/2/none and RTS-ON. When I do that in USB mode (or any mode) the radio will transmit and not unkey until I've turned RTS=OFF. Another thing when I went to reinitialize it does at times read the frequency even though in transmit mode. I know this is not a popular radio, but I've sort of run out of ideas. Here's a screenshot of the settings: 73 Scott KN3A

Limiting SpotCollector display to present transceiver band
7
Hello, is there a way to limit the display of spots in SpotCollector to the band to which the transceiver is set at the time of operation? For an SQL filter of SpotCollector, this would be something like Band = ‘transceiver band’ (pseudo code) or so. I know; normally you want to see all interesting (awards etc.) spots on whatever band/mode, but sometimes I am overwhelmed by the number of the spots and would like to limit them to the band, the transceiver is set to at present. History report?
6
Is there a way to generate from DXLabs (thru scripts of course) a report that would list which QSL resulted in a DXCC increment and/or Challenge increment that could be sorted by date? I suppose "V" status would be a decent starting point but where from there? Thanks Jim ab3cv

Setting up WinWarbler for FSK idle / diddle not quite right
6
Hello When upgrading to Windows 11 a clean install had to be done and now I am reinstalling my software apps. In setting up WinWarbler the transmit idle or diddle isn't what it typically is - it seems too fast. The install is WinWarbler with MMTTY setup for FSK using Micro Ham Keyer III and FTDX-101D following setup given by Micro Ham. When using MMTTY alone the diddle sounds as it should but when I use it with WinWarbler is when it seems to be somewhat off. It is probably something right in front of me, I am vision impaired and probably missing it. Does ayone have any ideas? Thanks for your time. Have a nice day! Richard

Interesting Problem
2
It appears that I am missing about 2000 QSOs. I looked at the size of the database and it is a bit larger than it was the last time I saved it which to me means all the QSOs are there. So I must have filtered something something. How do I clear the filter so I can get my full log back? 73, Bob KB4CL

DXlab and JTAlert on occasion not working
4
I have had an ongoing problem when running JTAlert and DX Labs suite of programs. I thought I was fighting RFI but finally proved that it wasn't. I am using FT8 with JTAlert. After 8-10 QSO's, JTAlert stops decoding. I have to close both programs and then reinvoke them both. Then all works for a while and then JTAlert stops decoding again. Most frustrating. Any help would be appreciated.

Spot Analysis
2
The spot analysis is a valuable feature and save a lot of time. As I understand it, it will show all spots within each hour on each band from sources within a set distance form my QTH. Is there a way to do this for only a particular call? If so, I haven't successfully done it. If I set SC to filter on a given call, I see only in the SC window. But I can't seem to get an *analysis* for that specific call. What am I missing? 73, Kim N5OP -- Kim Elmore, Ph Kim Elmore, Ph.D. (Adj. Assoc. Commander not retaining Radio Model setting
5
I run a 6600M. For at least several years I have used the SDR-6600 choice in the Commander Config > General > Radio Model. No problems, at least not serious ones. Lately I have seen some chatter about using the FLEXSIG Model choice so I have tried that. All is good but when I exit Commander (or shut down DXLab suite) and the later restart it the Radio model is back to SDR-6600. I thought that maybe the WorkSpace file might be the culprit so I made a copy of my WS file in a different directory then the Deleted Workspace using the workspace app, then created an Empty Workspace followed by a computer reboot (Win 11 64 Pro). When I restart DXLab and check the Commander Config, the Radio Model is back to SDR-6600. I've got to be missing something - any ideas? Wray AB4SF

SpotCollector not displaying any spots
2
Hmmm, it was working yesterday, but I made some minor, I thought, adjustments to the timing of keeping spots, and now, even though all four sources are green and their windows showing many spots, none show up in the main window. I reviewed all of my settings with a buddy, but nothing seemed out of order. I have no filters active. How do I troubleshoot this?

FLEXSIG doesn't connect to any Network.
2
I am getting the message “Can’t connect to FlexRadio FLEXSIG: No response from any network.” I am using a Windows 11 Pro computer. It worked for a while and then stopped. A short time later, it started to work again. Now another stop. I have look at and tried some of the suggested fixes and nothing has worked. Any suggestions on what I need to do?

Google Earth Enabled but doesn't start until I hit Sync button
4
I have enabled Google Earth on the DX View Worl Map configuration screen. When I hit the Sync button it works well for the rest of my operating session! Neat Tool.....Thanks Dave. I shut down at the end of my radio session using the Dx Lab Launcher. It closes all of the DX Lab components but leaves Google Earth and Multipsk still running. I then close them manually. The next day when I start DX Labs with the launcher, all programs start back up including Google Earth. But Google Earth doesn't do anything until I open the Config on DX View and hit the Sync button again. Then it works for the rest of the operating session. Am I missing a check box to automatically reconnect or sync? 73 Bill w1wrh

Pathfinder HamCall .url
4
I usually use QRZ.com but sometimes want to check HamCall. After switching my ISP to AT&T Fiber I found that invoking a Pathfinder search on HamCall returned an AT&T page blocking access to HamCall. It's supposedly possible to tell AT&T that HamCall is OK and should not be considered malware, but getting a response from ATT is a mostly frustrating exercise. So, on a hunch, I control-clicked on the "Buck" button and changed the HamCall url to https:// (rather than http), then clicked OK. This change apparently satisfied AT&T and the HamCall search page loads with no problem. But when Pathfinder is closed and relaunched the url needs to be corrected again. Is there a way to correct the .url "permanently"? Thanks! Daniel W9DGI
