FT9

Fellow hams,

I am starting to hear a little bit about FT9; could someone please direct me towards a good source or two to help me learn more about it, what software package revisions I need and how well they integrate with DXLab programs?

Thanks in advance!

Don't know a thing, except that if the WSJT team is involved, their website would be the place to look. And if they're not, I'd be suspicious of a scam.

You could start with the User Guide.

The mode is JT9 and has been around for a long time.

See the WSJTX Users Guide (F1 in WSJTX).

Thanks all; Joe, I think you are correct (I misremembered JT9 and called it FT9).

I think I got tripped by the AI word changer.

I wondered whether you meant JT9 instead of FT9?

Perhaps the OP made a typo and meant FT8 rather than FT9?

JT65 and JT9 were popular JT modes when I became a ham 10 years ago.

JT9 (and JT65) are "updated" in WSJT-X improved.? Updating seems to be primarily the automation of exchanges by the software.? JT9 hears down to around -29.
