copy profile

 

Hello,
?
I wanted to know if there is a way to copy a profile from 1 computer to another ? I had a crash and lost the laptop. I have a good working install on a desktop.

You can't simply copy an installation from one computer to
another. However, if you follow the instructions here:

you can reinstall on the new computer with all of your
settings and intact.

Thank you for the information. That is exactly what i need.? Now to do the same for wsjt.

As best as I can recall, install a fresh copy of WSJTX on
the new system then copy %LocalAppData%\WSJT-X from the
system/install you want to move/clone to the same location
on the new system.

That will move a lot of "junk" but it will get the WSJT-X.ini,
wsjtx_log.adi, wsjtx.log and any ALL files.
