can winwarbler trigger the cw memory contents of 7610 or 7300?
If Commander is running and the radio accepts a CI-V command that cause it to transmit a specified "CW memory", you can setup a macro in WinWarbler that directs Commander to send the appropriate CI-V command to the radio; the specific macro command is xcvrcommand, and its described here:
<.> Both of those radios can be directed to transmit CW text via CAT command, so you have the option of creating WinWarbler macros that are more flexible than the radio's "CW memories"; for example, they can automatically reference your QSO partner's name, QTH, or signal report. 73, Dave, AA6YQ |
Yes, I¡¯ve been doing the cw text via cat, works well, been tweaking the macros a bit, just wondered if it would trigger the radio memories....I assume it would also do the voice memories as well....

This is an interesting question.? IC-7300/7610 have a CI-V command "28" to transmit the content of the voice memories. I am not sure if there is a similar one for the memory keyer. I always use Winwarbler for canned messages.?
