Auto logging of Address block within Keeper

  • It is probably right in front of me, but when I log a Q on FT8, automatically, the addr window within Keeper does not automatically fill in the QRZ data...
?
I was able to look on chatgpt and it says the following but I cannot find the following:
?
  • Inside the QRZ section, you’ll see a checkbox labeled “Auto QRZ Lookup”.
  • Check this box to enable automatic call sign lookups whenever you log a new QSO.

How are you linking to WSJT-X? ?Are you using JT Alert, the direct DXLab interface, or something else?

OK, I think I know the issue now and I really did not describe it properly before.? The WSJTX program has a check that pops up and asks me to log the Q...I click ok, and it logs beautfiully to DX Keeper...it is at this point that the CBA does not populate (from WSJTX).? I looked within the WSJTX setup program but there does not seem to be setting that I can click that will populate the QRZ data (into the DX Keeper program).? I think I am pretty much stuck with doing the manual click myself within Keeper.

It is possible to have DXKeeper do it. There is documentation about getting started with WSJTX that explains it all. It works perfectly for me.

JT Alert will only do a Callbook lookup if you subscribe to
one of the XML services (e.g. QRZ XML Subscription). If
you do subscribe ...

JT ALert F2 (Settings) -> Web Services -> Online XML Callbooks

JT Alert F2 (Settings) -> Logging -> DXLab DXKeeper ...

+ The "philosophy" is that callbook lookup is controlled at the source. DXKeeper provides a programmatic interface that enables applications that send it QSOs? to request a callbook lookup so that the user can see what will be logged.

+ For QSOs logged using DXKeeper Capture window or its Main window's Log QSOs tab, automatic callbook lookup is controlled by Automatically use callbook data to initialize new QSOs checkbox on the Configuration window's Callbook tab.
?
+ For QSOs logged using WinWarbler, automatic callbook lookup is controlled by the automatic lookup?option on the Configuration window's Log tab.

+ For QSOs logged via WSJT-X,

- if you're using the direct interoperation between WSJT-X and DXLab, automatic lookup is controlled by the Callbook option in the WSJT-X panel on the Spot Sources tab of SpotCollector's Configuration window

- if you're using JTAlert, automatic lookup is controlled by the Log full name returned from XML and Log full QTH returned from XML lookups options in the Logging Options panel on the Settings window's Logging section.

+ Similar options are provided in MultiPSK and in the FLDigi, MixW, and N1MM Gateways.
