with something like "The file c:\mylogs\mumble.adi" already exists -- should I clear its current contents before appending the exported records?" Or would it be better to add a new Configuration setting, a checkbox for "clear contents of existing files before appending exported records"? 73, Dave, AA6YQ -----Original Message-----
From: Richard B Drake [mailto:rich@...] Sent: Sunday, April 15, 2001 10:59 AM To: Dxlab Subject: [dxlab] Export Dave, I notice that when you export log entries to an existing ADIF file that you append the entries instead of overwriting the old file. Since I use this feature mostly to add new entries to eQSL.cc this is not what I want. How about making append/replace optional? ----- 73, Rich - W3ZJ www.w3zj.com Yahoo! overwrite, or name another file. Yes, it would be nice to say, it exists, overwrite it or append to it. I will almost always say overwrite. I already knew it existed and I don't need the old stuff anymore. ---- 73, Rich - W3ZJ -----Original Message----- |
