The DXCC code is for the continental USA (not Hawaii), the CONTinent code is NA (not OC), the CQ zone is 4 (not 31), the ITU zone is 7 (not 61), and the COUNTRY field is USA (not Hawaii). All of those are incompatible with the State (HI) as well as the county. If KR1STA was really in Hawaii, then all of these fields need to be corrected..

Your ADIF file identifies KR1STA as Country=USA.
To make <CNTY:8>HI,Kauai valid, change the DXCC (prefix) for those QSOs to KH6, Change "Code" to 110 or change "Entity" to Hawaii (if you change one the other two will change automatically).

QRZ.com shows that KR1STA is a vanity call with a Hawaii address. It also shows a previous call of WH6DEY so there is a rather good chance that she's in Hawaii.
Have you imported the QSOs already - if so simply change Code/DXCC/Entity in the existing QSOs to KH6. If not, edit the ADIF file as explained below and import it.

Well, isn't this an adventure, grin.? I've made suggested changes to this single log entry.
?
First, I tried to make the changes in the error report and upload that, but it is a text file, not ADIF.
?
Second, I loaded the ADIF file into ADIF Master, searched for the entry for KR1STA and saved that single entry into a new ADIF file, and made changes there and tried to import the ADIF into DXKeeper.? The result was an error text file.? Error file says:? "no valid ADIF records found"? I rechecked the ADIF Master entry and all seemed OK, and the ADIF check routine in ADIF Master did not find an error.
?
I was going to attach the ADIF file for the single entry but I don't find a way to link files here, and I don't know how to convert it to a text file.

Looking for help.

ADIF files are text files. You can edit them with any text editor, including Notepad.
?
To edit a text file whose filename does not end in .txt, start Notepad, use the File > Open menu item in Notepad, then near the bottom to the right of the filename, in the box that says "Text Documents (*.txt)", click on the down arrow at the right-hand end of the box and change it to "All Files (*.*)", then find the file and open it. When saving the file using the File > Save As menu item, in the box immediately below the file name called "Save as type:", make the same change to prevent Notepad from tacking an extraneous .txt onto the filename.
?
To attach the contents of a small text file to a message here, simply open the file in Notepad, select the part you want to attach, and copy and paste it into the text of the message.

I was thinking if its only 2 entries, you could just re enter them
directly in the log.
if you are trying to tweak an adi file you need to change
<CONT:2>NA<CQZ:1>4<DXCC:3>291
?<ITUZ:1>7?
?? to ?? <CONT:2>OC<CQZ:1>31<DXCC:3>110?

if he is using Adif Master, that is much better then just a text
editor for most.
its quite easy to edit a text file and miss the character count,
which will cause errors.

If you've already imported the log, make the change in DXKeeper's Log QSOs tab. Select the QSO and make the change to either: Code (set to 110), DXCC (set to KH6) or Entity (set to Hawaii). It could not be more simple.

The result was an error text file.? Error file says:? "no valid ADIF records found"? I rechecked the ADIF Master entry and all seemed OK, and the ADIF check routine in ADIF Master did not find an error. I was going to attach the ADIF file for the single entry but I don't find a way to link files here, and I don't know how to convert it to a text file. Looking for help. Thanks Rich, NU6T

I have a log started, but would like to start a fresh log.? I think I can simply rename my existing log and create a new log with the original name of my old log...Yes?

Well, isn't this an adventure, grin.? I've made suggested changes to this single log entry.

First, I tried to make the changes in the error report and upload that, but it is a text file, not ADIF.

+ There is no reason to do that. In DXKeeper, simply correct the DXCC Prefix in the imported QSO by changing it from K to KH6.
+ Just to be clear, the root cause of this situation is that the logging application from which you exported the ADIF file allowed you to log a QSO with inconsistent components: a DXCC entity of "Continental US" with a State of "Hawaii". DXKeeper imported the ADIF record, and informed you of the inconsistency so that you could correct it. DXKeeper couldn't automatically perform the correction because it has no way of knowing which item is incorrect: the DXCC entity, or the State.

Dave, no worries?here.? I'm not blaming DXLab.? I'm not ready to blame anyone but me.? I seem to have created duplicates in my new log.? Since I'm not very far into it, starting over seemed like a good idea and might be good.? That QSO was one of my first and I sure could have made errors in the contest log that I uploaded to L32.? I could well be user errors.? I made another contact in that same contest on a different band with KR1STA and there were no errors in that part of the upload.
I don't understand why I could not import the ADIF Master "one contact" log.? Again, I'm trying to understand what I did wrong at this point.? Seemed like a no-brainer.
I'm getting a QRZ warning and need to step through the import process.? I was going to read the manual to find how/where I fix the QRZ issue.? A point to the right reading would be helpful.? I'm guessing I need to input my QRZ PW or something into DXLAb somewhere.

+ OK, then direct DXKeeper to delete all the QSOs in your current log: on the Main window's Log QSOs tab,
1. at the bottom of the tab, click the Filter panel's X button so that all QSOs are present the Log Page Display
2. depress the CTRL button while clicking the CBA button above the Log Page Display
+ Then import that ADIF file again, and correct the QSO with the inconsistent DXCC Prefix and State.
+ Using ADIF Master to make changes is rarely needed when using DXKeeper.

Dave, sorry, but I'm getting a DXKeeper text note error box that says, "This QSO has not been unlocked for Modification: perform a callbook lookup?"
+ OK, then direct DXKeeper to delete all the QSOs in your current log: on the Main window's Log QSOs tab,
1. at the bottom of the tab, click the Filter panel's X button so that all QSOs are present the Log Page Display ? * Done.
2. depress the CTRL button while clicking the CBA button above the Log Page Display
? *??error box says, "This QSO has not been unlocked for Modification: perform a callbook lookup?"? Yes/ No?
I assumed I should have deleted the contents of my log.? I see that one callsign entry is highlighted in pink.? If I choose No, nothing happens other than the text box closes.? If Yes, then I get a DXKeeper QRZ Subscriber login text box that says "No QRZ callsign specified.? I do not currently subscribe to QRZ. On closing this text box a new DXKeeper text box states, "Callbook error when looking up VU2ELJ: Program Error."
How do I cure this and?delete?the old log?
Thanks Rich, NU6T
