Using Dxlab to submit more DXCC entities to total

开云体育

Hi Dave and all….I submitted for and received my DX Century Club award in 2020 with initially 200 DXCC countries.

Now I was considering to submit for more countries to be certified/verified etc to add to that number and get another milestone sticker

for the award.

Questions:

Is there a way I can filter my log to see which contacts were verified in the first 200??? Is there a SQL that would show me this?

?

Is there a way I can see how many NEW DXCC enities I could get certified/verified within my log now after 4 years?? ?Is there a SQL to filter that out??

?

If there is a link to some docs I could read, please add them in the reply.

?

Thanks for the help

Hi Dave....I used the link you provided and checked the process for
verifying the original submission I made
4 years ago. I had done this entirely through LOTW submissions and I
followed the instructions on page 5 of your doc
Where I was in the Check progress tab and submission tab, checked the LOTW
contribution box, hit the verify submission button
And nothing happened that I saw. When I check the DXCC progress report,
first section verified Honor roll countries shows 5 mixed.
Next section Confirmed DXCC countries shows 265 mixed (whats the difference
here?)
How do I find out what I got credit for 4 years ago from ARRL??
Casual looking through my log shows me no "V"s in any LOTW QSL RCVD column
any where.
What do I need to do to update this properly to show the verified 200 DXCC I
got credit for 4 yrs ago??
Thanks in advance.

Ted,

1) It sounds like you did not use DXKeeper to prepare the original
submission. Is that correct?

2) How many QSOs are in your log?

3) Were all of the countries/QSOs submitted based on LotW confirmations?

4) Are any of your QSOs marked "LotW_RCVD = 'S'"?

Hi Dave...Can you tell me if there is a button or SQL I can use to search my
entire log (14k Qs) for anything
having the LOTW rcvd flag set to "V"??
When I went to the Check Progress tab, DXCC , Challenge & toplist, credits
and I hit the download button
I got a report of all zeros.... the last download date on the bottom left
corner said "never" at the beginning
But todays now so I assumed I had never downloaded the 200 credits I should
have for DXCC 4 years ago.
What I am doing wrong??? Should the top line of the DXCC Credits Granted
screen be all blank? It has a
complete qso listed in the boxes there for some reason. The credit filter
line is Any Any Mixed

Any help is appreciated.

HI Joe.....I tried your SQL line on my log and somehow it is showing only 4 qsos (out of 14k qsos) with LOTW_QSL_RCVD = 'V'
How does this happen? I thought I had never downloaded my credits as the download screen
showed a last date downloaded of "never"??? What happens if I tried to download all my 200 dxcc credits again??
Will it screw up these 4 Qs somehow?? Is a download of credits from ARRL the only way that setting changes to a 'V' normally?
Any answers appreciated as it appears I never did download the credits even after applying for the awards.
Thanks

Any answers appreciated as it appears I never did download the credits even after applying for the awards.

+ If LoTW responds to the "Sync LoTW QSLs" function by reporting a QSO to which DXCC award credit has been granted to a QSO that is confirmed via LoTW, then that report will include this field:

<CREDIT_GRANTED:4>DXCC

+ DXKeeper responds to such a report by setting the QSO's "LoTW QSL Rcvd" item to 'V'.

+ However, "Sync LoTW QSLs" directs LotW to report all new confirmations after the date shown beneath the "Sync LoTW QSLs" button - so most of your DXCC award credits granted to LoTW confirmations could go unreported if you didn't use the DXCC submission mechanism that DXKeeper provides. That's probably why only 4 of your QSOs have their LOTW_QSL_RCVD items set to 'V'.

+ The DXCC submission mechanism is documented here:

+ After you review it, please describe the DXCC applications you've submitted, and the actions you've taken in DXKeeper in support of those applications.

It means that only four QSOs are marked as having been "verified"
(credited) by ARRL as a result of LotW matches.

How does this happen?
You have either not received credit for any other LotW matches or
you have only marked those four as credited.

I thought I had never downloaded my credits as the download screen
showed a last date downloaded of "never"???
Which "Credit Download Screen?" QSL -> LotW -> Sync LotW QSLs or
someplace else?

What happens if I tried to download all my 200 dxcc credits again??
If you're talking about QSL -> LotW -> Control-Sync LotW QSLs nothing
except taking a considerable time to process the downloaded file of
LotW credits/matches. Your QSOs will be updated with any LotW
confirmations (LotW_QSL_RCVD='Y') and any credits as a result of
LotW matches (LotW_QSL_RCVD='V').

Is a download of credits from ARRL the only way that setting changes to a 'V' normally?
No, that setting normally changes as a result of Check Progress ->
DXCC, Challenge & Top List -> Submission -> Verify Submission *IF*
you have created the submission within DXKeeper (and not blindly
accepted LotW's QSO selections) *after* receiving the DXCC Credit
Slip from ARRL. However, that can also change simply by manually
setting LotW_QSL_RCVD to 'V'.

Any answers appreciated as it appears I never did download the
credits even after applying for the awards.
You don't *Download Credits* - you "Verify Submission" if you have
created the submission in DXKeeper.

See the normal application/credit work flow here:
<>

If your records are not correct, you can try to get them close by
1) Doing a "Recompute" in Config -> Awards
2) "Control-Sync LotW QSLs" and letting it process overnight,
3) then doing Check Progress -> DXCC, Challenge & Top List ->
Compare to get a list of discrepancies to research/manually
correct (whether it be LotW credits or card credits).

I do not pay much attention to anything in Check Progress ->
DXCC, Challenge & Top List -> Credits as with 349 mixed and
2600+ Challenge over 50+ years, there are simply too many
duplicate and partial/incomplete matches to make sense. For
example, my record at ARRL has credit for 1A on CW with callsign
= 246 and QSO Date = 1975-01-01 (while I was off the air during
my senior year in college). Similarly, my credit for 1A on Phone
is with callsign = 246 and QSO Date = 1945-11-15 (before I was
born). There is no way to match them to QSOs in my log although
I can guess which QSOs they might be and have marked the
appropriate QSOs QSL_RCVD (card) = 'V'.
