They are, Joe, but they are different. I just don't have a cross-reference in my head for prefix and name. Having to select one in one place and the other in another is confusing.

I am sensitive to this because in my work we provide a parts catalog for car dealerships. We agonize over UI for a largely non-computer-expert audience. My bible is Krug's "Don't Make Me Think" for UI design.

The Capture window generally doesn't require you to think about a callsign's DXCC entity: type in the callsign and strike the Enter or Tab key, and the correct DXCC entity is selected. DXLab provides an override mechanism (accessible from DXView and SpotCollector) that lets you specify the DXCC entities of ambiguous callsigns so that the Capture window can select the correct DXCC entity when you type in one of these ambiguous callsigns.
Further thought reduction is possible: the override mechanism can be expanded to retain a larger number of ambiguous callsigns and be automatically populated from sources like Jim AD1C or Club Log. Nonetheless, some thought and reasoning will still be required, just as personnel in a car dealership must be aware that cars have engines, transmissions, dashboards, and tires, and that a hubcap appearing in the parts manifest for a transmission repair is likely the result of an upstream data entry error.

I can't find any way to stop displaying the PSK columns & rows in Realtime Awards Tracking, DXView, and DXCC Progress reports. In the DXKeeper configuration, Awards tab, DXCC Bands & Modes panel, I have unchecked the PSK box, but the unwanted columns & rows are still displayed. I do pursue Digital awards, but have no need to see PSK information separately, so it would be nice to not see that information displayed. Is there any way to stop displaying PSK info?

There's not. Joe W4TV has accurately described the rationale for providing independent tracking of DXCC award progress in PSK. My plan is to extend this mechanism to allow the user to specify a digital mode of his or her choosing (e.g. RTTY or JT65 or JT9) and have independent DXCC award progress for that digital mode. This extension is not imminent.

From what I could see the complete list is here < >, last updated on 01/02/2016, if I'm seeing this correct, on the first lines, the AB-xx are replace with ZK-xx, so if one has one QSO with AB-01 with should count as ZK-37, and AB-xx should be deleted from the list.

The RDA are very confusing with many changes.

Exactly. Even with automation, changes of this magnitude are demotivating to those pursuing RDA awards.

How can I'm Disable in the Capture display QSL request?

If you're asking how to stop the Capture window's "QSL Requested" box from being automatically checked when you log a new QSO, disable the "Preset 'QSL Requested' checkbox" in the Options panel at the top of the "QSL Configuration" window's General tab.

Spot Collector error messages

When I activate Spot Collector from Launcher I get two or three error messages in a row (one right after another) indicating things like "..path not found", ?...path doesn't exist" etc then a message regarding database not containing band or mode but if I keep deleting these messages Spot Collector opens and functions normally except "?" show in the band field and mode field is blank.

DXKeeper's main window (QSO Pane) already works like DXV. Tt has
*three* pull-down entry boxes: Code, DXCC (prefix), and Entity (Name) -
any one of which will update the entity (just like DXV).

No there is not. PSK is displayed separately because Dave wanted to
encourage PSK operation when DX Lab was new 10+ years ago . Conditions
have changed (DXCC accepts all digital modes as the same) but there has
not been a justification to engage in the significant rewrite necessary
to change the way PSK and RTTY are displayed.

Since the CQ awards (WAZ, etc.) separate RTTY from other digital modes,
any logical change would be to replace PSK with *RTTY only* and include
an option for the DIGI line to include RTTY (DXCC) or exclude it (CQ).
However, that is a decision for Dave to make given a cost (programming
effort and delay of other features/bug fixes) vs. benefit analysis.

Re: RDA List update

If no one is willing to help organize the necessary changes as

be removed due an insufficient value/development-cost ratio. No other

I think the the overwhelming lack of response is your answer. Support
for submission generation could be withdrawn and the progress report
could be reduced to a simple list of districts worked with any decision

currently the case with USA-CA and the independent cities.

based on the list, and excluding RK-xx, these are new RDA, so yes.

I don't know how is manage "deleted" RDA into DXKeeper.

from the latest list,

- 67 are deleted but merge to another RDA

- 2 are simple deleted

For the 67 (as deleted), it seems a specific recompute needs to be performed as QSO with a deleted RDA must be reallocated with new RDA

"3. Deleted districts (because of union with existing districts). Here two existing districts were united into one district with now common administration. So You have to change all QSOs for the old district, e.g. AR-08, to the new district, in this case AR-23. If You have already confirmed AR-23 so You will just loose AR-08. If You haven't confirmed AR-23 but AR-08 so the QSO with AR-08 now confirms AR-23, no matter for which date the QSO is."

So "old" qso with a delated RDA as to be re-written with new RDA reference as no validation date
