Re: Logging on DZ lab through JTAlert

开云体育

Two things to check:

?

Firstly ensure that in WSJTX? the Secondary UDP? Server is not active (File -> Settings -> Reporting? -? bottom block

?

Secondly under JTAlert settings ensure that under Logging you have not changed the Last QSO ADIF port to one in the DXKeeper range – try disabling “Enable transmission of last QSO” (default port is 2333, which is outside of DXKeeper listening range)

When I finish a QSO on ft8 and log it, JTAlert sends that log file to my DXKeeper log file. ?Exactly what I want. ?Then when I send my response and send my response and power, when I hit ok a second file gets sent to my DXkeeper log file. ?I have to delete one each time a log a new contact. ?How do I stop that?

What does this mean? Once you have received 73 or RR73 the QSO is
complete and WSJTX/JT Alert prompts you to log the QSO. Anything
after than is unnecessary - if you are prompted to log again just
close the log window without clicking OK.

Related question: Is it possible to have an audible band edge warning in addition to the visual/color change?
+ In support of visually-impaired operators, the "Transceiver Announcements" panel on the Audio tab of SpotCollector's Configuration window can be configured to announce frequency changes and mode changes.

+ For operators who are not visually-impaired, why would an audible band edge warning be needed when a visual indication is provided in Commander's Main and Bandspread windows?

You *CAN NOT* eliminate the error since you removed the questionable
QSO from DXKeeper. LotW does not allow users to remove QSOs once
uploaded.
+ You can eliminate the error in one of two ways:

1. Restore the QSO to your log so that it will "match" what LoTW reports when you invoke "Update from LoTW"; if the QSO didn't actually happen, set its "QSL Rcvd" item to 'I' so that it won't be considered for award progress.

+ or

2. Uncheck the "Report unmatched QSOs and QSLs as errors" on the "QSL Configuration" window's LoTW.

+ I recommend #1 so that you can keep "Report unmatched QSOs and QSLs as errors" checked

Thank You, Dave.? I knew it had to be there, but just had not found it yet.? Lots to read and understand!? Grin.
+ As suggested here

+ slowly scan the Reference Documentation of each DXLab applications that you are using. Ignore the details, just create a list of those "functions" that you're interested in understanding and potentially using. Then pursue each of those functions one at a time, consulting the Reference Documentation for details and the "goal-oriented documentation" for step-by-step instructions; searching its index with a few key words is a good way to locate what you're seeking:

+ You can always ask for help here. No one will criticize you for asking a question that has already been asked and answered, or whose answer is obvious somewhere in the documentation.

As noted by Joe, W6TV, Dave AA6YQ, and myself W6DE, you can not share a single CIV connection with both a 7600 and a PW1 on that single CIV connection.?

Dave, AA6YQ is telling you the PW1 does not behave properly on a CIV connection and you need a separate CIV connection to only the PW1 from your computer to your PW1 to properly handle the bad behavior from the PW1.

Re: My last 12 OSO's would not upload to Lotw

# more AA6YQ comments below
It was the propagation window.? Somehow internet was in that window.? I must have done that but did not realize it.? Anyway all is well now.

?+ The error message " Invalid prop mode (internet) on line 5 " came from TQSL when it was processing the QSOs that DXKeeper directed it to submit to LoTW - not from DXKeeper. Thus there is no errorlog.txt file in your DXKeeper folder.
?
There is no such thing as an "Internet" QSO as far as logbook is concerned.? However, IRLP and Echolink are allowed. Go figure.
?

# ADIF defines an INTERNET propagation mode:

http://adif.org.uk/ADIF_Current#Propagation_Mode_Enumeration

# This choice is available in DXKeeper's "Propagation Mode" selector. It could also be selected in an imported QSO.
