SpotCollector not displaying any spots
Hmmm, it was working yesterday, but I made some minor, I thought, adjustments to the timing of keeping spots, and now, even though all four sources are green and their windows showing many spots, none show up in the main window.

Do you have multi-radio enabled (any radio defined/enabled on Commander -> Config -> MultiRadio)?

Thank you!? I read the Pathfinder documentation too quickly, evidently, and overlooked the "Modifying Web Searches" paragraph. Re: Importing N1MM+ and/or WSJT-X logs
Jn my opinion it is best not to use the bridge , especially in a contest, as it slows thigs down a lot and you can miss things. Best to export the N1MM log after you are done and import the adif to DXKeeper. It always works and you get everything filled in that you have configured in DXKeeper. VERY reliable. ? From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of William WC2L via groups.io Sent: Tuesday, February 18, 2025 1:39 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [DXLab] Importing N1MM+ and/or WSJT-X logs? Sorry for the log email. I wanted to get what little info I had in my head out into the email. Going to include both for logging imports. I think it is the same issue for both. I know it has to be me (usually is, ask the XYL). The more that I do and learn, the more I find is not set up. Some needed, some suggested and of course personal preferences. I'm starting to understand some of Dave's logic and thoughts (not always). The part that keeps biting me, is the log imports. I've used the gateways for N1MM and/or WSJT-X/JTAlert and etc.. Every once in a while, I will see a message that a contact was not logged (sometimes not at all). Sometimes I make a note, other times I don't. It is a matter of my "free time". I know this isn't good!! I thought when you QSY to a Digital mode, the program could/will start (I guess not). I need to reread things. I also need to make sure my settings are correct. I don't think I have it all correct. Colors and a few comments are not totally setup. Problem is, when I'm testing I want to chase DX. It is a really bad habit!! When you decided to "import" the log after the contest or time on the air (WSJT-X). I have found that the QSO that was logged and the QSO that was imported have the same DATE/TIME, but are different. From what I can tell, the differences can be Name/Address/QSL MGR/Uploads to ClubLog and etc. To me, if the Call, date, time, band, mode, exchange are all the same, the QSO should be the same. I do have the "2 minute" difference checked/setup. I have the checked merge dupes checked (should it be unchecked?). What else am I missing?
I decided to see if I can get the WSJT-X integration to work with DXKeeper/Spot Collector and etc. So far, It works. I'm not sure it is quite as quick or convenient, but it good. OK, I used the N1MM/DXKeeper gateway for the WPX contest with out any issues. This past weekend, I used the gateway for the ARRL DX CW contest. It looks like I'm missing some contacts in my log. I know that I have X# of Qs. When I filter my log, I see X# of Qs and the number doesn't match! When I look into the N1MM/DXKeeper Gateway, I see that there is a bunch of errors. I can paste the whole error log, but not a lot of need. Here is some of it: Set up the program prior to heading out to dinner. 2025-02-14 10:56:22???? > N1MM-DXKeeper Gateway version 1.2.1 2025-02-14 10:56:22???? > App.Path????????? : C:\DXLab 2025-02-14 10:56:22???? Re: Importing N1MM+ and/or WSJT-X logs
This entry in the Errorlog.txt file created by the N1MM-DXKeeper gateway means that the Gateway could not send a "log this QSO" message to DXKeeper using the TCP protocol:
2025-02-15 03:05:51.036 > N1MM_DXK_UI.InformUser: TCP log directive rejected: Error: unable to connect
This is the result of a problem with your PC. If most QSOs are being correctly logged, then either Windows is occasionally unable to handle the load, or something is failing in a transient manner.
Check the Windows Event Log for failures:
Use the Windows Task Manager to check on CPU and Memory consumption when you have DXLab and N1MM and the DXLab-N1MM Gateway all running simultaneously. Terminate all applications and reboot Windows before a contest to maximize available resources.
In the future, please do not post errorlog.txt file entries here. See

Importing N1MM+ and/or WSJT-X logs
Sorry for the log email. I wanted
to get what little info I had in my head out into the email.
Going to include both for logging
imports. I think it is the same issue for both.
I know it has to be me (usually is, ask the XYL). The more that
I do and learn, the more I find is not set up. Some needed, some
suggested and of course personal preferences. I'm starting to
understand some of Dave's logic and thoughts (not always).
The part that keeps biting me, is
the log imports. I've used the gateways for N1MM and/or
WSJT-X/JTAlert and etc.. Every once in a while, I will see a
message that a contact was not logged (sometimes not at all).
Sometimes I make a note, other times I don't. It is a matter of
my "free time". I know this isn't good!!
I thought when you QSY to a
Digital mode, the program could/will start (I guess not). I need
to reread things. I also need to make sure my settings are
correct. I don't think I have it all correct. Colors and a few
comments are not totally setup. Problem is, when I'm testing I
want to chase DX. It is a really bad habit!!
When you decided to "import" the
log after the contest or time on the air (WSJT-X). I have found
that the QSO that was logged and the QSO that was imported have
the same DATE/TIME, but are different. From what I can tell, the
differences can be Name/Address/QSL MGR/Uploads to ClubLog and
etc. To me, if the Call, date, time, band, mode, exchange are
all the same, the QSO should be the same.
I do have the "2 minute"
difference checked/setup.
I have the checked merge dupes checked (should it be
unchecked?).
What else am I missing?
I decided to see if I can get the WSJT-X integration to work
with DXKeeper/Spot Collector and etc. So far, It works. I'm not
sure it is quite as quick or convenient, but it good.
OK, I used the N1MM/DXKeeper
gateway for the WPX contest with out any issues. This past
weekend, I used the gateway for the ARRL DX CW contest. It looks
like I'm missing some contacts in my log. I know that I have X#
of Qs. When I filter my log, I see X# of Qs and the number
doesn't match!
When I look into the N1MM/DXKeeper
Gateway, I see that there is a bunch of errors. I can paste the
whole error log, but not a lot of need. Here is some of it:
Set up the
program prior to heading out to dinner.

Gateway shutdown (When I closed the
programs)
Hopefully you're still reading
this. I know someone will say, N1MM Gateway was not running. I
almost never shut it off. If DXLabs is running, so is the
gateway. I know that WSJT-X brings that gateway up. Should we
set N1MM to bring that gateway up?
Off to do a few other things in
the shack!

Re: Auto logging of Address block within Keeper
+ AA6YQ comments below
OK, I think I know the issue now and I really did not describe it properly before.? The WSJTX program has a check that pops up and asks me to log the Q...I click ok, and it logs beautfiully to DX Keeper...it is at this point that the CBA does not populate (from WSJTX).? I looked within the WSJTX setup program but there does not seem to be setting that I can click that will populate the QRZ data (into the DX Keeper program).? I think I am pretty much stuck with doing the manual click myself within Keeper.
+ The "philosophy" is that callbook lookup is controlled at the source. DXKeeper provides a programmatic interface that enables applications that send it QSOs? to request a callbook lookup so that the user can see what will be logged.
+ For QSOs logged using DXKeeper Capture window or its Main window's Log QSOs tab, automatic callbook lookup is controlled by Automatically use callbook data to initialize new QSOs checkbox on the Configuration window's Callbook tab.
?
+ For QSOs logged using WinWarbler, automatic callbook lookup is controlled by the automatic lookup?option on the Configuration window's Log tab.
+ For QSOs logged via WSJT-X,
- if you're using the direct interoperation between WSJT-X and DXLab, automatic lookup is controlled by the Callbook option in the WSJT-X panel on the Spot Sources tab of SpotCollector's Configuration window
- if you're using JTAlert, automatic lookup is controlled by the Log full name returned from XML and Log full QTH returned from XML lookups options in the Logging Options panel on the Settings window's Logging section.
+ Similar options are provided in MultiPSK and in the FLDigi, MixW, and N1MM Gateways.
