Recompute results-73 QSOs with "Broken ARRL Section"

After seeing Dave recommend another user invoke the "Recompute" function, I decided to do it as well. Result was 73 QSOs, 60 of them from 2016, flagged as ?"Broken ARRL Section". Interestingly, there are a few cases where multiple contacts with the same station resulted in different inconsistencies being reported. According to QRZ right now, N0UR is located in Steele County, MN. I do have the "Automatically recompute realtime award tracking" enabled. Should I be concerned by this, and if so, what actions should I take to remediate it?

Eureka! Once again, I have been successful in my ongoing efforts to create a small glitch in the program by doing something stupid. Don’t thank me, it was just apparent that someone had to explore all the nuances of errant entry in order to help the esteemed Chief Programmer determine how low to set the bar.

Here’s how I did it: After seeing a spot on my iPad that JD1-m was on 10m, I rushed to my radio room, turned on the amp and radio, tuned to the appropriate split and worked him. Opened the capture window (DXKeeper, SpotCollector and DXView were already on) and filled in the data…wait, I didn’t turn on Commander. Did that, finished filling in the log data, clicked the Log button and…oops, the frequency looks right, but it shows SSB as the mode and I worked him on CW. No problem, I just go to edit and change the mode to CW. Success!
Wait, that’s funny, DXView Progress panel shows I’ve worked JD1-m on 10m CW AND SSB. Pretty sure I’ve never worked it on phone…click on the “W” in the 10M Phone box, DXKeeper shows an empty log (which would be correct) and there seems to be no primate-level way of deleting the errant phone indication. My work is done, for now.

Umm, does anyone know how to get that damned red W out of the phone box? It’s starting to bother me…z

Re: Filtering DXLab

What I want to do is this: I try to work as many DXCC entities as possible in 2025, no matter in what mode or band.

So, I would like to set a filter so I can see (only) the unworked entities.

+ With one exception, DXLab's Realtime Award Tracking refers to all of the QSOs in your log; there is not way to limit it to just one year.

+ The exception is DX Marathon, which only considers QSOs made in the current year. You can use the DX Marathon progress report to track your DXCC progress in the current year, but it will also include the 7 "CQ Countries" as if they were DXCC entities:

CQ Country DXCC entity CQ Prefix
African Italy Italy IG9/IH9
Bear Island Svalbard JW/B
European Turkey Turkey TA1
ITU Vienna Austria 4U1V
Kosovo * Serbia YU8
Shetland Island Scotland GM/S **
Sicily Italy IT9

+ Consider competing in the Marathon; it's a nice way to keep your DXing skill sharp in between all-time new ones:

Re: Marker size on google mymaps?

+ AA6YQ comments below

I, not infrequently, use the dxview capability to generate a .kml file over a filtered period of time in dxkeeper and then view the results in both google earth and google maps. This is a great feature and thank you.

When I load the .kml file to google earth, the marker size (large, medium or small) selection in DXView does visually change from large, medium to small on google earth view.
However, when I use the exact same .kml file at google mymaps the selection of marker size in dxview seems have no effect on marker size.

+ DXView is designed to interoperate with Google Earth. I'd not heard of "Google mymaps" before you mentioned it above.

Marker size is always, to me, too large, in the default view, and the same size independent of marker selection size in DXview. NOTE: If I then zoom in substantially, eventually the marker sizes are more proportionate to the map scale. But, at the initial, overall view, and the first few zooms, they are seem large and non-responsive to (small, medium, large).
A virus free google mymaps link to my 2025 contacts generated with DXview (marker size small) shows the issue.
<;usp=sharing>

My monitor max resolution is 2560 x 1400 for reference (since it may look different on different monitors). I have a screen snap below.
Is there a way for me to shrink the size of the markers on google mymaps? I have read much of the google mymaps documentation and the only way I can see to do is using the scale command during the kml creation BUT I am assuming you are already doing that with size small, medium and large.

+ As you can see by examining the KML generated by DXView, the SCALE parameter is what DXView utilizes:

<Placemark>
<name>AA</name>
<View>
<longitude>-170</longitude>
<latitude>-85</latitude>
<range>20000</range>
<tilt>0</tilt>
<heading>0</heading>
</View>
<Point>
<coordinates>-170,-85,25</coordinates>
</Point>
<Style>
<IconStyle>
<Icon>
</Icon>
</IconStyle>
<LabelStyle>
<color>ff0000ff</color>
<scale>4</scale>
</LabelStyle>
</Style>
</Placemark>

+ If you can determine how to modify the generated KML files to express SCALE in a manner that works with "Google mymaps", I'll consider enhancing DXView to exploit it.

What is/are the sugestion user have for this?
What are your award selections in DXKeeper's Config -> Awards?

Have you enabled Realtime Award Tracking for the desired awards
