Re: Remote access
Any problem is an excuse for another tool.? Have you thought about buying a Laptop and using it with a remote desktop?? I used a Microsoft version of remote desktop through a long illness recovery on my laptop a while ago, it worked but I don't remember the details. Except, I do remember I needed a real mouse to navigate--the scratch pad was awful to use while sitting in a recliner.? There are other sources of remote desktop also. Three months is a long time to use a frustrating cell phone interface.? Somewhat akin to reading a newspaper through a straw.

For some reason the version of Commander I have been using for several years got corrupted + What led you to conclude that your Commander installation was corrupted? so I deleted it+ I hope you mean that you directed Windows to "uninstall" it. Deleting a DXLab installation generally leads to the situation where the application cannot be "uninstalled" because you deleted the file that Windows needs to "uninstall" it, at which point your only alternative (other than re-installing Windows) is running a Registry Cleaner application - which may or may not solve the problem, but may also create new problems that are worse than what you were previously confronting. and downloaded the current version. ?Much to my surprise, the Radio Tab does not contain an entry for a K3, only a K2. ?Am I missing something here?+ Yes. Re: Remote access
I tried AnyDesk and it worked fine. I could run dxlab modules along with the FT4/8 software. I know it works with WSJTx and MSHV, take your choice. Anydesk seems to work fine and then it won't and I suspect, although I couldn't find it in the docs, there is a "shelf life" when you have to "renew" it meaning setting it up again. You can use the same login info though. Biggest problem is keeping track of all you have open so you can figure which windows you can move around or minimize. There is a slight lag but it should not effect your decodes or transmission. You can use skype as they describe to do SSB but I never tried it. Good luck? to Mark.

Spot Collector connection to "VE7CC"

?
immediately after upgrading to the latest version of DX keeper ,? I can no longer join the VE7CC (+RBN) cluster? from Spot collector.
I receive a message to enter my callsign and am unable to connect.? Connection was automatic and always faultless prior to upgrading to the current DK keeper software version.

I'm stumped!? ?Anyone else having this problem?
