I want to create a tab-delimited file for all QSOs made between February 1,
2016 and present day. I opened Advanced and set the UTC filter and I can
limit the log to show only those. After that I wasn't sure what to do. I
went to the QSL tab and clicked on AddAll and that got them into the queue.
Then I clicked on "Tab-delimited file" and got some error. Don't remember
what is was, just figured I did something wrong just didn't know what.

I want to import the file into Excel so I can "play" with the information.
All I need is the UTC date/time, callsign, and mode. I figure if I can get
those QSOs into Excel I can eliminate the unwanted data easily enough.

Is it possible to use DX Lab to control one (or both in my SO2R setup) radios -AND- run my N1MM+ logging program (which also accesses the same radio(s)) on the same com port at the same time?

IE: Some kind of port sharing needs to happen.

It’s not possible for two independent transceiver control applications like Commander and N1MM to reliably “share” the same serial port, even though a serial port splitter will provide the connectivity to do so. Each application assumes it as exclusive control of the serial port, and will be confused by the presence of commands or responses it neither emitted nor requested.
There is an N1MM to DXKeeper bridge that records QSOs logged in N1MM to DXKeeper; some ops like this because it keeps SpotCollector’s “need filter” up-to-date during contests.
Commander provides a secondary CAT port that allows devices (e.g. tuners, amplifiers) and applications (e.g. SDR consoles) to monitor your transceiver’s frequency and mode, and change your transceiver’s frequency and mode. However, the “frequency and mode” functionality of this secondary CAT port is not sufficient for N1MM

Using Windows 10 platform did a DXLab download and processed updates then downloaded Win Warbler and verified correct file locations on C drive root then trying to initialize WW via the Lab launcher following happens: Windows Installer window indicating windows is preparing to install, the window clears itself then another window indicating that MS Office Professional Plus 2010 (Which is installed on this computer), I then choose cancel otherwise it tries to install MS Office. Once hitting cancel it happens all over again then hit cancel then it tries once more then cancel then next WW opens in all it glory... Is there a ini or dll file with the same name contained in WW or maybe a registry problem? I am not a computer geek.?

If all the apps are minimized how would launcher know which ones to restore and which to leave monimized?

I checked my complete log for duplicates and found one. Took care of it.

Now I want to upload to LOTW and when I try the return report says I have 10 out of 373 qso's that are duplicates.I looked over the QSL Queue and didn't see any.

So how can I find the 10 duplicates that are in the QSL Queue ?

Subject: [dxlab] QRZ Information Not Found

After I imported my Qs from N1MM after the ARRL DX SSB contest, I filtered my log, and used Alt-CBA to update the information for the 500 the Qs that I made. ?Everything proceeds until information about a particular call isn't found. ?A window pops up advising that the information isn't found, and you have to click on OK in order for the lookup to proceed. ?

Is it possible for this to automatically time out after X number of seconds so that the QRZ lookup can proceed unattended?

Obviously not an important request, but I think it would be helpful.

Re: Can't upload new QSOs to LotW

Hi Dave, thanks for the help. As it turns out my issue is with the N1MM+ .adi file. I thought I had changed the database from his to mine before the contest, but when I looked at the file by opening it with notepad it shows his call instead of mine. I deleted the contacts from DXKeeper and will work on correcting the file in N1MM+.

Subject: [dxlab] Can't upload new QSOs to LotW

I operated in ARRL DX SSB this weekend using a friend's PC running N1MM+ configured for my call. After the contest I e-mailed the .adi file to my home PC and then imported it into DXKeeper - all seems to be OK and I can see the new QSOs in my log. However, I'm unable to upload the new Qs to LotW - when I select the Add Requested button under the QSL tab, none of the Qs load into the QSL queue.

On the "QSL Configuration" window's LoTW tab, do you have the "Initialize LoTW Sent to 'R' for each logged QSO or imported QSO" box checked?

Until now I have not found a way to use N1MM+ and anything other software that would also access the radio as there is a com port conflict.

Ultimately I want to run the rig(s) remotely over the internet using TEAMVIEWER (which I do now), do a contest or casual DXing -AND- make changes to the radio that are only available outside my logging software.

Volume control, filter selection. etc.

Thanks !

Subject: [dxlab] Importing data from N1MM

?

I made a bunch of contacts with N1MM in the ARRL SSB contest.

I imported all the files into DXK ok but I have to goto each file and complete the data.

So in DXK ?I manually for each imported QSO I do Edit/myQTH/CBA/Short path/Save to fill in all the fields.

Is it possible ?to set it up so I can do the field filling automatically?

>>>First, backup your log. (Config window, Log tab, Backup button)

>>>Then Filter the Log Page Display to contain only your Contest QSOs.

>>>Then depressing the ALT button while clicking the CBA button on the Main window’s “Log QSOs” tab will perform callbook lookups for each of your contest QSOs.

>>>Then use the “Modify QSOs” panel at the bottom of the “Advanced Sorts, Filters, and Modifiers” window to perform bulk? edits on all contest QSOs, e.g. setting the Propagation path or myQTH.

>>>Note that you can configure DXKeeper to perform callbook looks and set the “my QTH” while importing…
