That's the problem. It's a separate account so you must have a username and password for it. Even if the passwords are the same the logins are different.

As I think of it now it is similar for LoTW except that you don't need a separate account just a separate certificate. Of course, the uploads must be signed with the appropriate certificate so you still need to do a separate upload for each call.

A related question here -- I understand using buro cards for DX (from the US) but is there a way to do buro cards within the usa also? I have some I'll be sending direct, but I also have a bunch that I just want to send buro cards to

OK, I can't explain it then. I just checked to be sure there wasn't some malfunction in DXView since I always have that and its built in world map open but there wasn't. If it's minimized when I terminate it, it's minimized when I start it.

I suspect Dave will ask you to send him an error log so he can see what's going on.

When on eQSL I can log into the account and view it – although nothing is there right now either in or outbound.

Not sure about LoTW but for eQSL you need separate accounts for each modified call. Otherwise users will send eQSL's to the call you signed on the air I.E.: K3JAE/QRP and if no such account exists you will never see the card. However, I noticed that not all users log /QRP even though it was signed it that way on the air. So, to make sure I got the card I uploaded my /QRP contacts to both logs.

The 6700 is on Port 4 and 12. ?I am running the current version of Smart SDR 1.6.21, ?I am running Windows 10 on my computer. ?The radio is direct connected to the back of the computer using an eternity cable. ?(just as i did with the 6300). ?By pinging i have confirmed that the 6700 and the computer are talking as it is recognizing the IP address of the 6700.

When I open up commander, I properly displays the IP port at the top and tries to connect however it times out and I get the message "Can't connect to FlexRadio SDR-6700. No response from any network".

When going to config within Commander---I have the Primary CAT Serial Port set to Com 4 and I have confirmed that the Flex 6700 is on Com 4. ?Baud rate 19200 Word =8 Parity =None Stop= 1 DTR= Off RTS= Off. ?Under General Tab- I have the SDR-6700 listed. ?

My 6700 's IP address is 169.254.9.91 ?Now when i go to Commander and General tab and his "reset"---in the commander window it first says it is trying to connect with 10.10.0.73 then moves to 169.254.23.151---it never tries to connect with the radio's IP address of 169.254.9.91. ?Can't figure out why.

On last item, in the General tab in Commander Config---I manually tried to put the ip address of the radio in the 'Radio Selection Box" ?with the appropriate Port 4 designated---and hit reset, then in the Commander window it tries to connect--but never does--I don't get the unable to connect message but it simply will not connect.

Help---there must be something obvious that I am overlooking---

Are you possibly executing a "Load settings from Workspace" at start up and was DXView maximized at the time you ran "Save settings to Workspace" ?

Dave left out one step:

>>>Indeed I did. Peter, please try this procedure:

1. using Windows Explorer, navigate to your DXView folder

2. locate the entry for DXView.exe and double-click it to start DXView

3. minimize DXView's Main window

4. terminate DXView

5. in Windows Explorer, double-click the entry for DXView.exe

>>>Does DXView start with its Main window minimized?

It's not as simple as reading manuals.
Ah, but it is! As long as you take the time to *understand* the
manuals and do the job the way the software/hardware developers
intended of taking a "my way or the highway" attitude.

I have done everything you are trying to do with the same tools as
documented in the appropriate manuals ... MK II, Commander/N1MM+,
NaP3 and CW Skimmer/OmniRig. The only difference is that I used the
Realtek sound card on the motherboard of my home built computer (it
supports 192 KHz sample rates) and an original SoftRock instead of
LP-Pan and a third external sound card.

I can even use VFO B to see the pile-up thanks to the settings in
Commander's Secondary CAT Serial Port. I documented a version of
CW Skimmer and Panadapter using PowerSDR-IF Stage here:

(no, it doesn't put the calls on the panadapter like NaP3).

I'd also recommend studying all of the DXLab Wiki material on Skimmer:

but false calls in the bandmap,
False calls in the band map is an issue to take up with the developer
of CW Skimmer. There may be some configuration items dealing with
speed vs. reliability that you need to look into. Again, study the
appropriate documentation.

Subject: [dxlab] Tracking most recent eQSL dates in DXK with multiple profiles

?

Currently DXKeeper appears to track, as a database field, the date of the most recent EQSL and LOTW download, so that requests for new QSL downloads only need to go back to the most recently downloaded confirmation.

?

For normal “always at home” operation, with no use of portable callsigns, and no changes in callsign, this works fine.

?

For LOTW, this also works fine.

?

>>>Correct, because all QSOs in the current log are uploaded to the same LoTW account.

?

But when multiple eQSL accounts are involved (different profiles, etc.), it looks like DXKeeper is tracking only the most recent most recent QSL date/time, and that periodic control-clicking of the Sync button is required to ensure that all confirmations have been logged.

?

Am I missing something?? Or, if not, would it be worthwhile to track most recent eQSL on a per-eQSL-login basis?

?

>>>I have not gained a clear enough understanding of how multiple eQSL accounts and “nicknames” work to know what’s needed, or to determine whether what’s needed is feasible. If there’s documentation describing multiple eQSL accounts and “nicknames”, please point me at it.
