Edit drop down box?
Is it possible for a user to edit the drop down box list of? the active satellites. I realize you can type a non listed name in the box. The new SO-124 satellite has been added to the ARRL list for LOTW credit. Will a new version of DXKeeper add it to the list in the "Propagation/Satellite/Name" dropdown? Thanks <<John N4QWF |

DXKeeper: New County Lookup
Hello Dave:
? As always, thank you for a great series of software.
?
QRZ.com and the US Postal Service list a particular Louisiana Parish exactly as Saint Tammany.? In contrast, countyhunter.com, HamCall.net, and DXKeeper Capture use the spelling of "St. Tammany".? That works out well for my county chasing. ?Numerous county spelling differences occur nationally.? QRZ.com XML is used by me.
My question: what magic does DXKeeper do to actually make this spelling adjustment from QRZ.COM to DXKeeper Capture when logging a contact?? Or something else is in the mix.? Any comments will be appreciated!
?
Many thanks and 73,

Re: Using Dxlab to submit more DXCC entities to total
Hi Dave...Can you tell me if there is a button or SQL I can use to search my entire log (14k Qs) for anything having the LOTW rcvd
flag set to "V"?? + AA6YQ comments below When I went to the Check Progress tab, DXCC , Challenge & toplist, credits and I hit the download button I got a report of all zeros.... the last download date on the bottom left corner said "never" at the beginning But todays now so I assumed I had never downloaded the 200 credits I should have for DXCC 4 years ago. What I am doing wrong??? + Did you determine your DXCC account number and configure DXKeeper accordingly, as described in step 1 of <> ? + If not, I urge you to first review + and then follow the step-by-step instructions in + as managing DXCC Credits is a complex process. 73, Dave, AA6YQ |

I had done this entirely through LOTW submissions and I followed the instructions on page 5 of your doc Where I was in the Check progress tab and submission tab, checked the LOTW contribution box, hit the verify submission button And nothing happened that I saw. + Clicking the "Verify Submission" button is only effective if you had + assembled a Submission - a set of QSOs whose "QSL Rcvd" or "LoTW QSL Rcvd" items were set to 'S'. If there no QSOs in your log whose "LoTW QSL Rcvd" items are set to 'V', then there weren't any QSOs whose "LoTW QSL Rcvd" items were set to 'S' when you click the "Verify Submission" button. When I check the DXCC progress report, first section verified Honor roll countries shows 5 mixed. Next section Confirmed DXCC countries shows 265 mixed (whats the difference here?) + "Honor Roll Countries" do not include now-deleted DXCC entities, whereas "DXCC Countries" do include them. How do I find out what I got credit for 4 years ago from ARRL?? + By directing DXKeeper to download your DXCC award credits from the ARRL and link them to your logged QSOs, as explained here: ed%20window 73, Dave, AA6YQ -- This email has been checked for viruses by AVG antivirus software. www.avg.com |

Is there a way to sort and filter my log so I can see each country I have worked, but just the first time I worked them? An "ATNO list", if you will. + If you haven’t been uploading your QSOs to Club Log, do so and wait a few hours before proceeding. + Then log in to Club Log. In the vertical menu bar on the left, select Timelines in the "Your Log" section. + On the "DXCC Timeline" page, click the "First Worked dates" button. 73, Dave, AA6YQ |
Re: CAT connection between Yaesu FT1000MP+MicroHam_MK+DXLab+SPE_RFPA 1.5k
GM Joe , thankyou again for the info and SAD abt the Y_RS232 cable not reliably working with "25" years young MP radio.
I will try to add an USB_RS232 converter and see if I can let it be recognised by the SPE_PA
and DXLAB_Commander.

Re: Needed DXCC Entities?

One *can* however, click *RAT*,+ The RAT button is located just above the Log Page Display on the Main window's "Log QSOs"? tab. Clicking it displays DXKeeper's tabbed "Realtime Award Tracking" window. select the DXCC tab, check Unworked,+ Check the "Include deleted entities" box if you want deleted entities that aren't confirmed to be included in the list of unconfirmed entities display in the panel. For a printable report, click the Report button along the right side of the DXCC tab. ? ? ? ?73, ? ? ? ? ? ? Dave, AA6YQ |

You *can* make up a "Y" cable to connect the SPE to the FT1000MP

How would you get a list of needed entities by filtering the log?

By definition, needed entities would not be present in the log. One *can* however, click *RAT*, select the DXCC tab, check Unworked, worked and requested while unchecking Confirmed and Verified. Those entities will be whose never worked or worked but not confirmed. 73, ... Joe, W4TV On 2025-03-07 4:22 PM, w2eck via groups.io wrote:
