Re: Sync QRZ QSL's

Thanks for the quick reply. I need a class on all the little steps, to support the reading the I keep forgetting. I added the App_QRZcom_logID to the log page display. That helps to find all that are missing the logID. What I fail to comprehend is why the uploaded log entry is present at QRX (including logId) but my local copy is missing the logid??
I tried to filter the log page display with APP_QRZcom_LogID = " ", that is invalid, also tried <> '#####' also failed. Guess I need more study time with sql?

Anyway, thanks for the help.

TD$/;--ToggleTextDecodeOn/Off is a valid command in REV C15 of the?programmer¡¯s manual.

Are you putting a ¡® before the command ¡¯TD$/; ?

TD$ (Text Decode/Encode Mode)

Per-operating-mode details below.

CW text decode mode: 0=off, 1=TX only (N/A at present), 2=RX 8 to 45 WPM, 3=RX 8 to 60 WPM, 4=RX 8 to 90 WPM.
CW threshold settings: 0=AUTO, 1-9=fixed levels.

SSB encode mode (2-tone): 0=2-TONE off, 1=on. Threshold setting: N/A

+ The TD$223; command is only valid when your K4's mode is set to CW. I'd try generating it from a user-defined command sequence, not a slider. You can use Commander's Messages window to confirm that you are sending the desired command and to see what your K4 sends in response.

When I run the QRZ sync function, the returned "QRZ_ADIF_report .txt" lists error messages: "Error: QSO reported as confirmed is not present in log (LogID = 491928052)".

+ That means the QSO was not uploaded to QRZ from DXKeeper.

To find these qso log entries,? I use the LogID number to search the QRZ log which returns the appropriate log entry with its call sign.? I then have to search DXKeeper? for that corresponding qso entry.?

In DXKeeper, I noticed that most of my qso entries for QRZ sent have a tag in red that gives "QRZ (LogID = #######)". The entries that do not have this notation, are the ones that are in the error report "QRZ_ADIF_report .txt". I find that by right clicking on the entry and 'upload to QRZ', the LogID number is applied to the DXKeeper log entry.

+ That's how DXKeeper shows you that the QSO's LogID item is not specified.

I have not found any information on the purpose of the QRZ LogID number.?

+ That's documented here:

"unique identifier assigned to this QSO by its??logbook"

?

I also notice that the "QRZ_ADIF_report .txt" header indicates that "Received eQSLs" has something to do with this QRZ sync function.

+ That looks like a defect caused by my re-using the code from the "Sync eQSL.cc QSLs" function when I implemented the "Sync QRZ QSLs" function; I will investigate, but you can ignore it.

?

Is there any way to filter DXKeeper to find all of the entries missing the LogID number, and then upload them as a group?

+ The current version of DXKeeper can only upload all QSOs that haven't been uploaded to QRZ; the next version has been extended to enable limiting the upload to QSOs in the Log Page Display.

+ I suggest that you invoke the "Upload to QRZ" button; doing so should upload all QSOs whose "QRZ Sent" items are not set to 'Y' or 'N'.? I expect this includes the QSOs whose LogID? items are unspecified.

?

Is there any specific function or purpose in DXKeeper for the use of the LogID numbers, other that a reference link? to QRZ log entries?

+ Yes: they enable the "Sync QRZ QSLs" function to more quickly locate QSOs in your DXKeeper log, and they prevent inadvertent modifications to a QSO's callsign, band, mode, or start date/time - in either QRZ or DXKeeper - from breaking that QSO's linkage between DXKeeper and QRZ.

Thanks for any information/assistance you provide.?

Re: SpotCollector filter for 13 colonies

You could set up a custom SQL with all 16 callsigns and mode
for each of the CW, SSB, DATA modes then edit the SQL each
time you work one of them. For example:

(Callsign in ('K2A','K2B','K2C','K2D','K2E','K2F','K2G','K2H','K2I',
'K2J','K2K','K2L','K2M','WM3PEN','GB13COL','TM13COL') and (Mode
= 'CW')) or
(Callsign in ('K2A','K2B','K2C','K2D','K2E','K2F','K2G','K2H','K2I',
'K2J','K2K','K2L','K2M','WM3PEN','GB13COL','TM13COL') and (Mode
= 'SSB')) or
(Callsign in ('K2A','K2B','K2C','K2D','K2E','K2F','K2G','K2H','K2I',
'K2J','K2K','K2L','K2M','WM3PEN','GB13COL','TM13COL') and (Mode
in ('FT8','FT4','RTTY','PSK31')))

It is a shame that the Leaderboard function does not have a

As I mentioned before I previously used XMLog. I exported my adif log
from that and imported it into DXKeeper. I was pleased to see that it
has imported all the QSL sent/received and eQSL/LOTW received fields
correctly. But I have never worried about marking eQSL and LOTW (or
ClubLog) QSOs as requested/confirmed, everything is uploaded to those
anyway.

I suppose I could use bulk modify to mark all my QSOs as eQSL/LOTW sent
if I really want.

+ When LoTW returns to reliable service, you can use DXKeeper's "Sync LoTW QSOs" "Sync LoTW QSLs" functions to update all logged QSOs to reflect their acceptance? and confirmation by LoTW, respectively. Step-by-step instructions are here:

+ Unlike LoTW, eQSL does not provide the programmatic interface necessary to support a "Sync eQSL QSOs" function, so using the "Modify QSOs" panel to update your logged QSOs en masse to indicate that they've been uploaded to LoTW is the best path available. You can update your logged QSOs to reflect their confirmation via eQSL:

+ If you're certain that the information on LoTW and eQSL confirmations is correct in the ADIF file you imported from XMLog, then you can skip those steps.
