Re: Clublog Upload TImeout
+ Based on your description, there are several possible culprits, but DXKeeper isn't one of them. I agree Dave. DXKeeper wasn't the problem and never thought it was since it's worked for years. At first I thought it was a Clublog issue, like what W4TV linked to. But after a month of this I decided to post and do some troubleshooting. I'm not sure if my tinkering with the Windows Defender Firewall did something or not. But at least it's working and hopefully will stay working! No doubt these Windows "upgrades" will continue to provide hours of troubleshooting fun! |

DXKEEPER
John Tymick
I have done the exclusion and restore process from Windows Security for DXKEEPER 15.4.9. as per instructions I have gleaned from the numerous posts regarding this.? I went to my DXLABS folder and DXKEEPER1549 is in the folder.? I was able to open it (DXKEEPER) from the folder but it doesn't show in the Launcher app (blank area where the current version number should be).? I went to Windows Security and DXKEEPER is no longer quarantined.? What do I do to get Launcher to "see" the app? ? I am so sorry to bother the group with yet another question about this... 73 de John K9JMT |

Updating DXKeeper to match ARRL DXCC
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýA couple of days ago, I
uploaded almost 900 LOTW credits to DXCC, and this morning I
checked on the LOTW web page, and all of these credits have been
recorded on my DXCC account; I have zero pending.? So I ran a
DXCC Verification Discrepancies Report, and it shows a huge
number of discrepancies between the log status and ARRL status.?
I ran a DXCC Progress
Report, and it still appears to show band, mode and mixed
numbers from before I submitted all those LOTW QSOs.? Question
is, how do I tell DXKeeper to accept the ARRL's DXCC status in
the corresponding DXK log entries for everything in the
discrepancies report. -- 73, Pete N4ZR Check out the Reverse Beacon Network at , now spotting RTTY activity worldwide. For spots, please use your favorite "retail" DX cluster. |

Re: Windows Defender
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI run ESET Internet Security ¨C no problems at all. I have Windows 10 Pro, so disabled Defender completely via Group Policies.? Peace of mind¡ ? We use an alternative AV here as well and WIndows-10 Pro did no turn Defender back on at the last update? It has popped up a few "NAG" notices about turning Windows Firewall back on? but did not override my current settings.
