Minimized apps

I usually run DXL one one monitor with 4 apps open and 3 apps minimized. I sometimes minimize all the apps when I want a clear desktop to do something else. When I click on restore all the apps come back up. Causing me to have to have to minimize 3 or 4 apps. Is there a setting that will leave apps that are minimized that way upon a restore?

QSL Queue

I checked my complete log for duplicates and found one. Took care of it.

Now I want to upload to LOTW and when I try the return report says I have 10 out of 373 qso's that are duplicates.I looked over the QSL Queue and didn't see any.


So how can I find the 10 duplicates that are in the QSL Queue ?

QRZ Information Not Found

Hope you're enjoying your vacation in 8P.


After I imported my Qs from N1MM after the ARRL DX SSB contest, I filtered my log, and used Alt-CBA to update the information for the 500 the Qs that I made. ?Everything proceeds until information about a particular call isn't found. ?A window pops up advising that the information isn't found, and you have to click on OK in order for the lookup to proceed. ?


Is it possible for this to automatically time out after X number of seconds so that the QRZ lookup can proceed unattended?


Obviously not an important request, but I think it would be helpful.

Hi Dave, thanks for the help. As it turns out my issue is with the N1MM+ .adi file. I thought I had changed the database from his to mine before the contest, but when I looked at the file by opening it with notepad it shows his call instead of mine. I deleted the contacts from DXKeeper and will work on correcting the file in N1MM+.

Dx Lab & N1MM control same radio?

Is it possible to use DX Lab to control one (or both in my SO2R setup) radios -AND- run my

N1MM+ logging program (which also accesses the same radio(s)) on the same com port at the same time?


IE: Some kind of port sharing needs to happen.


Until now I have not found a way to use N1MM+ and anything other software that would also access the radio as there is a com port conflict.


Ultimately I want to run the rig(s) remotely over the internet using TEAMVIEWER (which I do now), do a contest or casual DXing -AND- make changes to the radio that are only available outside my logging software.


Volume control, filter selection. etc.

Launcher has crashed three times and as soon as I ask it to "Start" opening the various apps is say abort and I am unable to close launcher. I am also unable to close down my pc. Had to pull the power cord.

Hi Phil, Avast - as well as the firewall, try settings/active protection/file system shield/customize/add -- then browse to commander.exe? then enable

This has been answered several times today by Dave whose response is below. Since you are new to the reflector you probably didn't see the previous posts. I believe it has been the correct answer in every case. Why it seems to be happening with version 12.1.5 and not with previous versions I don't know. I had no problem with it on Windows 10 running Intel's McAfee Live Safe.

HI All.
I am just coming on the reflector for the same problem: Commander 12.1.5 blocks my win7pro pc. I have to hard-reset it as there is no way to RESTART via softkey nor Win-switchOFF, then I have to CANCEL by hand the Commander folder if I want the pc running free untill DXLAB_Launcher installs the last version of commader....
but then the pc is again blocked , nothing works : audio, lan, explorer windows are all full-screen, Progam_KILLing doesnot work.

I have tried? two times and also checked the HD against file errors. Then on third try and after cancelling again the Commander folder I have taken the previous version folder from my saved True_Image copy of Win. Now the commander v12.0.8 works again.
I think Dave has to trim some bad-bytes in the last commander prog.
