O! Gary...I have told SOMEone each and every day since I discovered Disappearance. I am not exactly certain when I first happened upon fearless books website, but I do know that it was in January when I was going through my work transition (and forgiveness of my former region's employers) and that the Disappearnce book caught my (third?) eye immediately! I ordered one for me and one for my mom and we had been reading it together...she is still reading it! She says she is afraid to read anything else, lest it PALE in comparison in terms of spiritual truths, etc!
I also did daily ACIM lessons online ( a link from Renaissance Unity's daily meditation list), and found it quite interesting and delightful to follow.
Now that I've seen so much dialogue between those of us on this site and many on another site that has been discontinued, I am deeply appreciative that I am being led to ACIM in perhaps the deepest understanding one can have, that is, through Gary's Disappearance book.
I am deeply disinterested in the battles of the "little wills of men" within the ACIM community and did not even realize they existed prior to a list serve I got on last month. My primary study of ACIM was thru Marianne's A RETURN TO LOVE, my other Bible! However, NOW I can honestly say that Disappearance is my Bible. When I read something, if I cannot apply it to my life, it means little. The Disappearance book was an easy read for me for the first half. It was when we got to the business of FORGIVENESS that my book now has every other page with something underlined or highlighted, that I determined I MUST live and apply in order to achieve the peace within that I AM meant to have...
My 16-yr old son is having great difficulty with organized religion these days, and was insistent that I see "The Matrix," so much so that he bought it for me for Mother's Day! We watched it last weekend, and I cannot WAIT to see THE MATRIX RELOADED.
This illusion of my journey has been delightful, and I am grateful for who I AM and where I AM in Life. When I'm asked what would I change if I could, I simply state, "I AM grateful for it all. Without every last bit of it, I wouldn't be who and what and where I AM at this moment in time..."
