Traded my Yaesu FL-2100B for the rig, ps and remote vfo. Seems to work well and has a cw filter and am filter in it. I think it might need alignment as it seems down a little bit. Anything I should do? I ordered ab original manual from ebay. Wanted one for years.?

The best thing you can do is study the service manual. The how-it-works write ups are very good. The TR7 is a complex radio but not overly so compared to modern rigs and is very understandable if you take your time.
